2 Castles, 2 Send out 2011 & Ring in 2012...12 Days of Christmas

To Do List for This Week:
1. Get Pennie tubes decorated for the boys and loaded with coins
2. Make a list of the shirts that I still need to buy...okay the scrapbooker in me needs everyone in coordinating colors each day at the park
3. Get change jar cashed in and gift cards bought for the kids from Santa
4. Get cash for tip envelopes and get them stuffed with approx. amount of tip
5. Go through packing list of tolietries and buy things needed from this list
6. Get Ab's and My hair cut
7. Have Jeff take the boys and get all 3 haircuts done

I really need to finish touring plans, but I am expecting some January park hours announcements this week so I guess this will have to wait until next week...next week it is packing time!

Well the mall isn't the mall atm. It's so slow it could be January. Not two weeks before Christmas. :confused3

But even mom was impressed. She's kinda thought the whole "internet friends" thing was sorta weird. I showed her what you sent and told her what I'm making for y'all. And she was all "Oh so you all have really gotten to know each other like ALOT the last few months." Now she gets it lol.

Ab and I ventured out to the mall this past weekend...someplace I avoid even when it is not Christmas...it was bareable...actually I was surprised that is was not more crowded...hmmmm

Glad your mom is starting to understand, yes...internet friendships are a little strange especially when you are thinking of planning a trip with people you have never had face time with...

One more thing...well almost...marked off my to-do list!!!! This past week before school, during my lunch, and after school I worked on embellishing our trip shirts in my office...this was the only place where I could lay out the shirts and work on them without the kids seeing them and letting them dry the necessary time...I think they turned out pretty good...I am not done because on the very last shirt my paint bottle "Burped" all over the last shirt and I am waiting for another one to arrive...GRRRR

Oh Tammie! They are amazing!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Great job!!! Sorry about the paint bottle 'burp' tho! So irritating when that happens!!!

Am amazed everytime I get caught up with your PTR, the advent calendar activities, the movie nights... you should start a blog or something to assist the rest of us with ideas of how to effectively interact with our children. :goodvibes

Such great memories you are making!!! Have a good week!!!

I love the embellishments to the shirts. You made them so much better, and I liked them the way they were to start with!

I need to take a cue from your list for this week and make sure I do all that stuff this week too! (Since I've been too lazy/busy to get most of that stuff done).

Are you going to have Santa visit the house before y'all leave on Christmas morning?

I was just thinking, I am sure you have something very special to be your number 1 thing you're looking forward to. I can't wait to see what it is. Sort of a "mini-reveal" to all your DIS friends!

My thoughts exactly. She looked at me like i was nuts about the ladies trip!

Yeah, but we've all come to know each other pretty well I think!

Tammie,
I love how you blinged those shirts out! Great job.

That's awesome how you are going to coordinate on your days so you'll look good for your scrapbooks. Allison probably wished we did that since she still talks about how dumb Ian looked in flip flops and jeans:laughing:

Hi Tammie, I just finally figured out by using the Facebook group and other brillant means of deductive reasoning :rotfl: that you will be ending your trip on the day I get back there! So I'm goign to see what your pans are for the last day and maybe they will match up somehow!

I'm back again. It's going to take me a while to get caught up. You did a great job on the shirts!! Love them!! Be back later to get caught up.

What a great chance to reflect back on the true meaning of Christmas while on our trip. I think the Candlelight Processional will help to bring everything back in focus again and remind us what we are really celebrating. I have to admit that I am really not too excited about Marlee Martin as the narrator…I love her as an actress and on Celebrity Apprentice, but I so would have loved to see Doogie Hoser or heard Trace Atkins voice…

Hi Tammie, I just finally figured out by using the Facebook group and other brillant means of deductive reasoning :rotfl: that you will be ending your trip on the day I get back there! So I'm goign to see what your pans are for the last day and maybe they will match up somehow!

Facebook group? Did I miss something?

Tammie - we get to see Trace Atkins, but I don't know him. I hear he will be good.

To Do List for This Week:
1. Get Pennie tubes decorated for the boys and loaded with coins-DONE
2. Make a list of the shirts that I still need to buy...okay the scrapbooker in me needs everyone in coordinating colors each day at the park-DONE...ordered Jeff some new shirts from BassPro, now I am on the lookout for me a black shirt and a red shrit
3. Get change jar cashed in and gift cards bought for the kids from Santa
4. Get cash for tip envelopes and get them stuffed with approx. amount of tip
5. Go through packing list of tolietries and buy things needed from this list
6. Get Ab's and My hair cut-DONE

Thanks, I think they turned out pretty good too! Just waiting for the last one to be sent from the man who printed them.

Am amazed everytime I get caught up with your PTR, the advent calendar activities, the movie nights... you should start a blog or something to assist the rest of us with ideas of how to effectively interact with our children. :goodvibes

I would not say effectively at all...most of the time it is forced family fun and ends up with someone being grumpy and me getting mad. I have such a picture perfect moment in my head and sometime the kids do not cooperate...okay, not sometimes but most of the time...case in point...this morning Boo could not read the clue to save his life and Goo would not listen...UGH

Such great memories you are making!!! Have a good week!!!

I love the embellishments to the shirts. You made them so much better, and I liked them the way they were to start with!

I thought they needed to get a little bling for Christmas...I even made Jeff 2 shirts and he will wear them...another forced family thing...

I need to take a cue from your list for this week and make sure I do all that stuff this week too! (Since I've been too lazy/busy to get most of that stuff done).

Are you going to have Santa visit the house before y'all leave on Christmas morning?

Yes...Goo came up with a great idea that Kirby (our elf) should tell Santa to use those bags that you bought a long time ago as our stockings...this came out of left field...what a memory that guy has...our travel bags for the plane already packed thank you Kirby and Santa. The two oldest are getting gift cards from Santa and Goo is getting a refurb I-pod that I found for $30...he has been wanting his own music...so I handle handle it if he loses or breaks this I-pod! Unlike Boo is drives me crazy laying his I-touch around that Santa brought last year!

I was just thinking, I am sure you have something very special to be your number 1 thing you're looking forward to. I can't wait to see what it is. Sort of a "mini-reveal" to all your DIS friends!

Most of my list is in no order...but #1 really is the thing that I am really most looking forward too!

Tammie,
I love how you blinged those shirts out! Great job.

Thanks

That's awesome how you are going to coordinate on your days so you'll look good for your scrapbooks. Allison probably wished we did that since she still talks about how dumb Ian looked in flip flops and jeans:laughing:

At least you can crop out flip flops...I just like the colors of shirts to match somewhat so all the pictures look uniform. Ab rolls her eyes at her brothers lots too for their fashion choices...but she is not fashionista either...

That would be cool...we will be at DHS on Jan. 6...we have planned Jedi training and have a 1:30 ADR at Primetime...then I was hoping to leave the park...check into POP for the night, check out resort, head back to DHS for Osborne lights (if anyone wants to) and then Ohana for dinner at 8:05. What is your schedule like?

I'm back again. It's going to take me a while to get caught up. You did a great job on the shirts!! Love them!! Be back later to get caught up.

How did we miss telling you about this one...???

Tammie - we get to see Trace Atkins, but I don't know him. I hear he will be good.

Seriously?! You don't know Trace...hmmm amazing voice...one of those deep southern cowboy drawls...Celebrity Apprentice?! I am so jealous!

We get in at like 9:30am and will be checking into AKL, I was thinking we would go to AK, but that might change because of the lights being still up. I do have reservations at DHS for the 7th, but I also need to make sure we're in MK before the 9th! I need the revised January hours to hurry up and get here so I can plan!

Tammie - in all of your spare time... can I pick your brilliant writer's brain? (go to my post for info...) :goodvibes

Now, on to more important things... you are sooo very close to single digit dance!! I'm getting excited for you!!!!

Has Ab figured anything out yet? You said you were beginning to wonder... but I can't remember if you said that here or on FB? :rotfl2:

Said it on facebook...she mentioned something the other day of really wanting to swim with dolphins this summer and why on earth would she be getting a towel as a Christmas present (the advent gift the other day was a towel and watershoes)? I told her that she could use it on our trip at Christmas...her response was "Why would I need a towel and water shoes to go skiing?" I said, "You might be surprised?" She gave me this look...:confused3...

I know...any idea when the hours will come out. I know they will update them, but I have not seen any mention of when on DIS or EasyWDW.:confused3
