I remember someone was linking a several tables with kids together for the late dining, but can't seem to locate the posts. Anyone know who was pulling that together?

That would be me ;) So far we have one table with 13 and another located next to us with 3 couples.

Let me know if you want to join our "merry" little group! I will need your reservation number and name

Sorry for the delayed response -- work got super-busy. I need to change to the late seating before linking up reservations. I recall you had a table and there were some adults nearby, but I thought there was also a small group of about 3 families with kids that were also going to try to link up in the same area. I just had a vague recollection that they asked if you would mind if they tried to set up camp adjacent to wherever your tables were located. I just can't seem to find where that was discussed -- ring a bell at all? Thanks!

Now I need to catch up on many pages of posts....

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

I'm back! After ten looooong days, our power was restored at exactly 6:41 PM. I have never been so happy to turn on the lights! We had absolutely no damage on my block, not even a branch down from a tree! However, we were the last block in town to get power back. There was a lot of damage elsewhere in town. A few houses were damaged We lost our municipal fishing pier and bathing pavilions and many century old trees.

Long Branch, the city where I work, suffered a lot of damage to its oceanfront area. I've been off from work for 10 days, tomorrow will be my first day back, if we don't end up with a snow day! Among the many things that my office deals with are infrastructure repairs and home repairs, as well as assistance to local businesses. I should have some busy days ahead!

My trip to Atlantic City was cancelled, so now I can concentrate on getting ready for the cruise!!!

I'll go back and read all the post from the last week and a half tomorrow.

It's good to be back on the grid!

Beth, I am SO relieved to see you post! Glad you have your power back and no damage at home!

So jealous! Still waiting... :rolleyes1 DH and I got our passports yesterday. Just sent out for the girls last week. DH told them if they didn't get here in time, they could stay home with grandma and we would just take extra pictures for them. :rotfl: They weren't okay with that.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I *think* you can request to be near other DIS tables if you know that table's lead person's name and ressie number. It has worked out that way for us in the past.

Snowed last night, but mercifully didn't stick.

Decided on a design and cut some of the pieces for my ornament. Today's goal, get it done! Oh. and sign up for medicare:rolleyes2

I used to procrastinate but it made my stress level way too high - when flying stresses me out enough all by itself, I don't need any extra. Now, baby steps.

Happy Day, all!

Beth, so glad to hear that you are ok - we were all worried about you!

Oh I bet that comment didn't make them happy!

Our table has the older kids - there is also a table of 8 adults that we have requested to be "next" to us. I don't have any info on others with kids that were interested in joining us at the late seating, but if you are out there and want me to try to link our reservations to be near each other, let me know.

I booked my flight to WDW, TBD if DH will be joining me. It will be a quick 2 night stay. Let me know if anyone wants me to pick them up something from WDW. My MIL finished our FEs and I got them yesterday. They look great! Now if only I could find the time to finish my gifts. I am half way through the female gifts and havent even started on the men's. The sewing machine will be joining us during our Thanksgiving travels. Where did the time go?

I signed up for the DC Rock and Roll Half Marathon, so let the training begin!

Another tragedy. Yes, just one more thing to set me back. My son's dog, a really sweet soft coated Wheaton, ate my glasses this morning. I got up, went down the hall, and back to bed. In the short time I was not in my room, Chloe (the dog) snatched my glasses off the table beside my bed and ran. By the time I discovered they were missing, Chloe had hidden them under the ottoman in the living room and had had her way with them.

Wow, you just can't catch a break. Hopefully you will see clearly soon. I am pretty blind without my contacts so I always make sure I travel with a ton of extra pairs and at least 2 spare sets of glasses. I even sleep with my glasses on because I am so blind, I can't see to find them on the nightstand in the morning.

I'm back!
Welcome back Beth. We were thinking of you.

Started with a Mouse posted the lineup on pg 358.

I believe that's page 239. I also talked to DCL yesterday and in addition to that line up, There will be showing in 2D of Brave, Cars and John Carter.

I'm back! After ten looooong days, our power was restored at exactly 6:41 PM.

So glad you are safe and didn't have damage. Sorry for the damage in town and to others in the path of Sandy.

I hope this new storm that came thru did not do damage to any of you on the East Coast. Stay safe and warm and dry!

I just talked to my DH and he is just passing the arch pulling into Cabo. He said he passed the Wonder a few days ago at sea. So I looked it up and the Wonder should be in Cabo tomorrow. He said he would watch for it and take a picture for me.

I am getting so excited about this cruise and can hardly wait. No docs here yet. :confused3

I am soooo excited. My DH just called me back and the Wonder is in port at Cabo. He asked where our rooms were and I told him and he was able to point them out to one of his crew members, Mark, who will be on the cruise with us. I'm so glad it was there....the two guys are getting excited now. DH's third crew member was with us on the WBPC in Jan 2011 so he was excited to see the ship again, too.:dance3:

Can I come along if you DH doesn't want to go :)

The Rock'n Roll marathons sound like alot of fun. My middle DD was going to do the Philadelphia one this year, but she is a procastinator and never registered. I'll have to tell her about the DC one. She really wants to do the one in Las Vegas where they run at night. Good luck with your training - I have decided that running is not for me - I had been doing the couch to 5k program, finished week 3 last week, did something to my hip (doctor says its bursitis) and now I can't walk withouth crutches. This is the 2nd injury from jogging (broke a bone in my foot last year), so I have offically given up running. I'll stick with Leslie Sansone and her walk away the pounds dvds

Oh, Tammy, I'm so sorry....that has to be painful. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sure! But you can not pout, whine, or discuss politics! DH might be be left behind for a reason. Oh and you also have to be able to drink around the world!

Our plan was also for the Philly Rock and Roll but a string of injures for both of us through the summer prevented that. We have both started running again (the toes are healed!) so hopefully it will continue that way. Tell your daughter the DC race in March 16th. She should do it! I have started with the couch to 5k program again, yes it had been that long since I had a decent run :( Lucky for me, the half training program doesn't have me running more than 4 miles while we are on the ship. Running circles around the ship makes me dizzy! I hope you aren't on crutches much longer and maybe try cycling!

Travel docs arrived yesterday!!!:cool1: Can't wait to get room assignment-- feel like I'm a woman without a country to call home. Wow, I have sooooooooooooooooo much to do and only 30 days to do it!

Could anybody help me? our family of 6 just registered for the cruise and we have always wandered how to get part of the fish extender program? is it too late or is there still room for us? how do I get started?:confused3

Promise no pouting or whining and I have no political opinions at all except that I don't like either candidate that we had to vote for :confused3 and drinking around the world is no problem :lmao:

We talked about the 1/2 marathon at dinner, she is going to look into it. She doesn't know if she has the time to train, she is swamped with school work right now!
