2013 Candlelight Processional Watch

Our trip is 12/22-12/28 and our CP night is 12/25. I *knew* our narrator would be one of the last announced, but come on, LOL! I am dying to know!! I figured it wouldn't be NPH because I love him, hah, and also since he has two tiny children, he probably wouldn't do Christmas Eve/Day. I don't really care who the narrator is; I enjoy Christmas music and the story enough that anyone would be enjoyable, but I want to know!!!

We are there with you on Christmas Day!

I don't know if there is a historic precedent. I saw Gary Sinise last Christmas Eve, Edward James Olmos the year before, I think I have even seen Rita Moreno one year.

We are there for Christmas Eve - hoping we find out soon who the narrator is!

Anyone know why other places have listed NPH as filling the November 2-3 slot but the official WDW website still has it as TBD?

I think they just haven't updated yet maybe ... NPH announcement was in the Orlando Sentinel, so I'm hoping that's fairly solid!

Perhaps Disney is trying to psych all of you NPH fans by trying to fill a slower time slot on Dec. 2nd and 3rd with letting everyone believe he will be there on those dates and then once they are filled announce someone like Miley Cyrus or Gilbert Gottfried instead only to have NPH do the later dates. :rotfl2:

Before I get flamed, I'm only kidding. I'm sure it will post up very soon. ;)

Yikes! I think I'd have to change my dates if either of those were narrating the night we're there!!!! I'd love to see NPH, since I've been a fan since I was little. But, if it was someone else (within reason!) ;) it wouldn't be a huge deal. I've had that date booked since the packages came out. Just want to see that official listing on the WDW website so I know who it is going to be!!!

Gilbert Gottfried.... Candlelight Processional under new management. "This story is so old...let's make it more hip!"

Am I the only one that wouldn't mind seeing Gilbert? I think he's be great. Either him or Bobcat!

Even if/when WDW website posts a narrator, keep in mind that they quite often change.....usually by late October early November it's relatively safe to say that it's set, but two years ago I think they were changing narrators around almost daily...or at least it felt like that. The fun part was to watch threads like this on all the different boards.....people were moaning yesterday about not being able to get X date because every restaurant was full, then a change was announced and suddenly there are dozens of openings as people cancel X and head over to Y.....and then a few days later the moaning starts over Y which then changes to Z.....and so on. I always imagined the CMs in the website department laying on the floor laughing and saying "let's move so and so to Wednesday and see what happens".

That's also a reason that by early November you're often able to find openings where a month before there were none.....because a lot of people will keep their original reservation, but then book another one when NPH or whomever is announced.....and once it's closer and more certain they'll cancel the ones they don't want. Fair....nah, probably not, but since Disney can't seem to make up their minds, well, a fan has to do what a fan has to do. We're going to go to several of them, so I do have 3 reservations....Ashley, Sigourney and the unknown December 3.....so hopefully NPH. And yep, I probably will go to all three....only if they put in Miley or Gottfried would I cancel, lol.

We will be with the earlier posters on Christmas Eve (just love being there then...can't keep my eyes from leaking) and we were hoping that Gary Sinese would be the narrator as we have heard him on a couple of occasions and loved him. But, whoever it turns out to be, the evening will be wonderful.
I confess to be becoming excited, though, waiting for the shoe to drop! I do hope it's someone who is invested in being there.
I can't understand why someone would accept that gig, though, especially during the holidays, and not care.
It will be great to be sharing it with all of you Dis'ers!
Don't forget to stand for the Hallelujah chorus!
