I wouldn't think it would be worth it. You'll get a lot of pictures taken by the guides. They will also take pictures of you with your own camera.

Quick question. Would it be worth it to purchasing photo pass plus for after the trip and on my own time. I know the guides are there to do photos of our adventure - as a single traveller I have found photo pass useful in WDW in past trips. I don't plan on doing character meals during my post stay, but would like to have the ride photos and maybe do character meet and greets.

I think it depends on how many extra days you are staying. It's so much cheaper than WDW's version that if I were staying at least a couple days beyond the ABD I'd probably do it. We bought it when we went to DL for a 3 day trip and it was worth it for us. There are not as many photo pass photographers out and about in the parks as there are in WDW but we still definitely got our money's worth, especially with ride photos.

As a fellow solo traveler who is all about the pictures, I'd love to have a "photo buddy" or two that we can trade off taking pictures of each other at these various places. I know the guides will as well, but they have a lot of people to take care of and it's always good to have backup.

I agree with New England Eeyore. It kind of depends on if you stay after the tour for a few days. The price is so much lower than WDW's Photopass equivalent, and I certainly got my money's worth as a single traveler at DLR when I stayed 3 to 4 days extra when I didn't have anyone else along to take photos. I've done ABD-BSM twice and the guides ARE very busy so they're not always available during the tour to take all the photos you want. If you are staying past the tour, I would get Photopass.

My wife and I are actually driving from Minnesota and making a few stops along the way, so we leave for portion one of our trip tomorrow!


ABD is sort of the middle, then heading to San Francisco.

And overnight my part of Toronto had 6 inches of snow fall - at least it was not like Buffalo a few weeks ago. On the up side the forecast looks good for my flight out on Sunday. But there is a good chance of rain in LA and Anaheim on Tuesday.

Val & I aren't getting in until late Saturday night (probably near mid-night) after our flight from Orlando. We'll probably sleep-in Sunday but might catch some of you around the hotel later in the morning. Looking forward to meeting new friends and renewing acquaintances.

We depart tomorrow afternoon.

As Karen indicated it looks like the weather for next week will be cloudy, cool (at least for us Floridians) with a strong chance of showers. I'm not complaining because the folks in California really need the moisture.

The day just got longer. Flight leaving TPA delayed. We'll miss our connecting flight in Vegas. Southwest says that we should still be able to get to LA sometime tonight.

Just arrived at DL. Flight was quite bumpy. Raining and colder than expected. Hopefully it clears up a bit. I plan on walking around the parks a bit today and doing the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose tonight. Yummy!
