Friday is the last day of school and Monday I have to work school golf outing fundraiser and then I am basically FREE for the rest of the summer!!! Free to DIS and obsess about ADRs and FP+ reservations!

Is it normal to go this late into June? Our students moan and groan that our school goes past memorial day (until the last day of August). because many of the schools around here finish that friday before memorial day weekend. We start around Aug. 10th-12th-ish. My DS's new kindergarten will be done in the middle of may next year! Crazy. I was wondering if this is a St. Louis thing. It seems to move earlier each year (starting date and ending date).

We live in NY & school ends here on June 24th. They go back on Sept. 1st this year. So we are on the late end over here.

You can get an app for your phone with the countdown... I have it on my phone and tablets...I have Android devices, so don't know if there is a version for IPhones (or if this one works....)

Our dates are 9/12-9/19!!! It's going to be so weird, fun, nice, sad, different....just the two of us. First time in 25 years!!! Beach Club is our resort of choice!

Alright, I'm not trying to start a mob scene, but bath and body works is having their big sale right now and, and... and Rainkissed Leaves (aka beach club smell) hand soap is only $3 a bottle!


They only have the scent in the hand soaps, no lotions or anything (at least not the store I checked). But my hands do smell pretty beach clubby right now.

Woohoo! I was able to order some Rainkissed Leaves body wash, hand soap, and fragrance mist online today. I bought some antibacterial hand gels for our trip in a bunch of different scents and ordered some other stuff as well. If anyone else is going to order, don't forget that they have a $10 off of $40 coupon listed on the top of their website. I'm not sure how long the coupon is good for, but it really helped with my order total today. Thanks for sharing!

Schools in the Memphis, TN metro area usually get out end of May just before Memorial Day. This year, some schools in the area had to go into June due to all the bad weather we had this winter... We don't have proper equipment to deal with icy/snowy roads here so they close schools if we get even a tiny bit! The schools have been starting back earlier in August than they did before, but finally my kids' school pushed it back to August 18th this year which is great except that now we'll get out later next summer (but still before Memorial Day, I think).

Did I mention that I'm totally depressed that my BC trip is over I had DD16 pick me up some of the Rainkissed Leaves hand soap the other day, and it almost made me book another trip in early August! Then I remembered that with two volleyball camps and a drama camp, we probably should wait My advice to everyone else going to BC/YC this summer is to make sure you get enough time at SAB! That pool is the best! Even though I thought I "carved out" enough time there, it still wasn't enough...rain did get in the way of my plans a few times.

I just realized that my ticker in my signature was wrong by about a month! I'm not sure how I did that, but the new, correct ticker says we're going to Disney sooner, so I'm good with that!

Only 88 days until we leave for Florida (staying offsite for a few days before Disney) and 94 days until Beach Club!

We have 6 days of school left here, and 4 are half-days 63 days until Beach Club (and 55 I think until we leave for Anna Maria Island). I've been feverishly trying to figure out FastPasses...we have 2 character breakfasts so DH asked that I keep the meet and greets to a minimum...ahhhh fine! I think I am most looking forward to SAB and walking to EPCOT for drinks (self-proclaimed Grey Goose Slushie addict ) SUMMER!!!!!!!!!
