Welcome! No need to specify seller paying MF since there are no points in 2016. That's only if they're covering points that are still in the contract. I'll have to clarify that a bit better in the tool.

Congrats on that passing within 30 days! (AKV almost always passes :) )

Just passed ROFR on my first contract -- and a month later, add-onitis got a hold of me!

Contract #2
mustinjourney---$128-$17185-130-VGF-Apr-0/15, 130/16, 130/17, 130/18-Seller pays MF '16- sent 6/9

That's a really good deal for VGF. And the seller's covering the dues for 130 points, too! Nice work.

The broker was shocked they accepted it. It's an international seller -- so somethings have been moving a little slower than I'd like (took them 4 days to figure out how to e-sign the documents).

My wife is a little mad at me -- I thought she gave me the green light, but apparently I misheard. But I just couldn't pass up this deal. It was originally listed for $130 a point and since it had no banked points, I figured I'd make an aggressive offer. Essentially getting it for $122.29 a point -- which is nice. April UY isn't ideal, since I'm about to finish closing on a Dec UY -- but I figured what the hell.

Congrats. It'll be interesting to see if they waive ROFR on that one. Fingers crossed! Different UY is a mild bummer but you can transfer points between the memberships so not the end of the world if you want to make a bigger booking (albeit, not all at the 11-month window.)

BTW the wife won't be mad once you actually go there. That's always how it works, eh?

both contracts are at VGF -- so I should be able to book at the 11-month window, right?

Of course. Also, bear in mind that you can't combine two different memberships on one night (i.e. say you want a day that costs 30 points. You can't use 20 points from one and 10 points from the other on that one night.) You'll need to transfer the points from one membership to the other to do that. No big deal, but just something to be aware of. Not a huge deal; just one other little step to be aware of. You'll find more info on this in other threads (don't want to clog up the ROFR thread...:offtopic: :firefight)

Wow, that is a great contract! Double points at a great price. Wishing you luck!

This is setting up for some serious irony if a certain scenario plays out... ;) :scared::furious:

I looked at that 100 point contract and was going to put in an offer at the sellers asking price of 110pp but we need at least 150 pts at BW. I thought it was a good value at sellers asking price but I was afraid with it being fully loaded that with my luck it would be to big a gamble. It will be interesting to see how things play out.

I was pretty happy when the seller accepted $100pp and figured we should have no trouble passing ROFR but seeing your luck I am fairly concerned at this point that it won't go through. But it is our first try so I'm not going to panic.

I don't think anyone here has figured out the magic formula for what gets passed. I was fortunate to pass ROFR a week ago with a $96pp contract at BWV and was concerned as well after watching @gr8tdame's issues with BWV.

Long time lurker - first post and first attempt at a DVC resale - fully loaded so we will see what happens!

tmcgean---$100-$11283-100-BWV-Jun-100/15, 100/16, 100/17- sent 6/8

Congratulations on your offer acceptance! Two quick questions. Did the Jun 2015 UY points get banked to 2016 (should it read 200/16 instead of 100/15)? Also, are you paying dues on the 2016 points (it looks like you are from your total but I just wanted to check since you mentioned it was fully loaded versus loaded. Fully loaded would be free 2016 points as well)? I'm trying to track the effective prices on the contracts and just wanted to make sure I had accurate data. Thanks!!
