**October 2016 Check-in!**

No October hours are up yet. Still can't make Plaza Inn or WOC reservations....

Same boat, WOC Dessert Party, Plaza and Wine Country Trattoria dinner 45 days out now.......All of the WDW vets have learned to be patient and wait for the 60 day mark at DLR and "don't worry things never fill up that early, you don't need to plan that obsessively anyway..." until the 60 day window is open and your dates aren't available yet and your OCD kicks in and you flash back to waking up at 3am to book Be Our Guest and 7DMT FP+ and ahhhhh...

Then I take a deep breath and say, "this will be our 3rd trip this year, we will do the things we like to do, eat where we want to eat, see what we want to see and ride what we want to ride...we always do...and it will be magical...it will be ok...."

Continued patience and luck October friends...

I decided on Viator, it was $29.99 per person, round trip. They should pick up at our resort, but there is a chance we may have to meet at another close by location like a neighboring hotel or something. https://www.viator.com/

I have a question about that, too!! On site it says that they pick you up in your hotel but in L.A not in Anaheim. Is there an option that allows you to travel from Anaheim or am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

Just double checked our dates (10/2-10/7) on the DL site because I was curious about prices and the Disneyland Hotel is showing as being completely booked that week! Not a single room type came up as available. Glad we booked when we did!

Well, I put in the Camelot, and it came up as one of the hotels on their available list, I don't remember reading anything like that, but I sure don't want to pass on bad information. This is my first time doing this, I don't speak from any past experience, sorry. Anyone used this company? Oh My Goofy it is going to be soooo crowded. I had held on to my high hopes that it wouldn't be. Well, you win some and you lose some. I guess a crowded park beats no park.

So out of curiosity I checked all 3 of the DL hotels for my dates (10/3-10/7) and both the DLH and PPH are booked solid. GCH has availability of all its mid-level rooms though. It is going to be a busy Busy Busy time in the parkS

Could be the Australians on holiday. We were there during those dates a few years ago and it was an Australian invasion. We'll be there again this year from 10/2-10/8, hopefully, it's not too busy.

School holidays for most of Australia around then... Not that coming to America is that popular right at this time (out dollar os very week compared to the green back and thus it's super expensive)

I checked night-by-night (because I'm crazy) the night we arrive 10/4 - 10/5 every hotel has availability , starting 10/5 they're sold out...so looks like heading into the weekend will be very busy....

Thanks! That's actually good information to know since It inspired me to look at little closer as well. Looks like you are right and the crowds come in on the 5th with the 3rd and 4th having availability. I can use this info to tweak plans and expectations over the week. I now know that the most important park days for us are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday while thursday and friday are the take it slow do a more swimming and reading at the hotel days.

Just popping in to say that i will update our group listing soon! Thanks everyone who joined in so far, its a huge check in thread!

Our Bert and Mary costumes are coming along great! I spent the weekend making her hat, bow tie, and adding red band/bow to the waist of my skirt. It looks adorable, and I'm so happy I've been able to thrift shop basically everything so far! My husband has totally gotten on board and is wanting a really authentic costume. He felt that mine was leaving his in the dust, so I'm reworking his.

HUGE bummer for me. I just went to make an ADR for our group at BB for my 30th birthday....they only had ONE res available for the entire week we are there for a group of 8. Its for the day before my birthday and its at 2:10. I took it. For some reason, all of the issues with Octobers lack of schedule, I thought that i couldn't make an ADR yet. My fault, ugh. Good thing I checked today or we might have been SOL for the whole trip. I messaged our group, and said maybe we can meet up on my actual birthday for desserts at Jolly Holiday instead. Those raspberry macarons are MAGIC.
