MDE down???

So FP never went down in the parks? Good to know because that would have been chaotic!
According to Tweets sent to @WDWToday - the official Disney Twitter account - FP system in the parks was down. Guests are tweeting from Guest Relations.

The response:
“We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Our tech teams are working hard to get everything back up and running.”
 
I could see everything on MDE a few mins ago and now nothing. This has to be so frustrating for CMs and guests alike at the moment.
I could not see my BOG-Dinner-Reservations but all others, including the bookings I made this morning around 1a.m. (7a.m. for me). But where is my BOG??? They could not really steal it, or? Ahh this freaks me out.:scared:
 
I'm also wondering if I'll be able to activate my annual passes tomorrow at one of the parks if the problem isn't resolved by then?

Did you get an email confirmation? If so, I think you'll be fine. Even if the system ate the reservation, I would think they would fix it for you.

On a funny note, just got the app to load again and the first thing that came up was one of those 'How do you like our app' surveys! LOL - not thinking now is a good time to ask! :)
Actually the app is the only thing that IS working right now......:rotfl:So maybe it is the right time to ask.

Yeah, I received them but I have really to look for them, as I changed a lot and delete some of the old released ADRs, I hope I didn't delete this by mistake.
And of course calling from Germany to US isn't my preferred way.
 
Anyone having trouble booking FP's should just call that's what my GF had to do. I was able to use to app but I wasn't able to get both of our FP's as it would let me choose mine but not hers. So she ended up having to call and the CM ended up doing her FP and linking it with mine. Only thing we had to change was the time of the Na'vi River time from early morning to early afternoon because they were booked up.
 
Just a recommendation: Anything you are able to successfully book during this volatile time, I would recommend taking screen shots and keeping all emails.

There is a possibility Disney will need to restore their system to a backup copy and potentially things booked right now may not be reflected in the future.

Better safe than sorry!

Agreed 100%. Just took screen shots and will print them out as well. I can't see how a CM would turn anyone away if they have proof of making either a FP or ADR if they have the proper documentation.
 
FWIW, I just spoke to a tech CM and she said that everything's been fixed and they're in the process of loading everything back up. She said to give it a couple of hours.

With all due respect I chatted with a CM yesterday online and last night via telephone. Both told me that the problem should be resolved in a few hours. I'll believe it when I am able to get on to MDE. Thanks for the update though.

It appears the site is partially resorted. The home page is now working, but it still features a banner with an advisory about digital experience issues. I can't yet access MDE on the website, and at the moment my app still won't consistently display my ADRs, FastPasses etc.
