Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Yuck! My feelings are since some have issues with MBs even when they do check out of resort #1 and some have issues when there isn't even a split stay involved, I'll take my chances and skip checking out of resort #1.

I know what the answer is supposed to be to this, but now I'm concerned. We have a package which includes dining at a value resort. After we check out, we are headed to a CL stay at WL, but we're planning to use our last TS meal that dinner.

I'm confident it won't be a problem. We've done that many times.

I'm here now and just wanted to say how impressed we are with the offerings in the lounge. This is our first stay at club level and cannot see how we can go back to non club level :rolleyes1 I'm not saying that we won't but this will make it more difficult. We also bought the extra fast passes and used the viewing area for the Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom. It's in front of the Crystal Palace on the west lawn. When we first checked in we were the only family sitting on this big patch of grass that was roped off. It was a little embarrassing as everyone else was jam packed together, thankfully three other families showed up. We had plenty of room to stretch out for sure, it's a nice perk for sure. We also used it for fantastic and Saturday we will have it for Rivers of Light viewing experience. We have used the Minnie van two times so far, we definitely enjoyed the convenience of it. In case you want to know the cost is $25 Today we will enjoy the pool and later Disney Springs :D

Glad to know you are having a great time!
Still crunching my numbers to see if that extra $600 is worthwhile......

In regards to your comment about the viewing area for the Happily Ever After Fireworks, is that a FP+ event?? Or did you purchase the dessert party package??
A special viewing area for one of the nighttime shows is included with the club level option to purchase additional FP. Guests can choose one for each night that the additional FP have been purchased.

We also have had turn down service every night so far And we didn't need to request it.

Curious, you mention "once stocked"
Does that mean they won't get it for you unless it's stocked?
Is Poly's CL one of those that serves you the adult beverages? Opens the beers? Pours the wine for you?
I know AKL only gave us open beers, for instance and over at BC and GF they served our wines, it wasn't self service.
One thing I like about BWI is it's self service. We can get beers and take them to the room for later at night, for instance. Don't have to open them first.
And we can pour our own glasses of wine

We left BWI and went to Hard Rock CL and I really disliked the way they did theirs. Not only did they serve you, they only give 1 drink to 1 person (no getting a drink for your spouse) and you can't even get a drink outside of the beverage hours. I was too spoiled by BWI and Disney. Any of the lounges would get us beers anytime we wanted it, didn't have to wait till it was in the fridge.

Really, that's odd. Last year when we stayed at the Porto Fino Bay hotel CL the CM was happy to get my husband a beer when we came back to the lounge early. It was way before the evening items we're out. I love Disney CL but have always felt that Universal CL is a step above Disney.

Mini review of Atrium Club Level! We had a great time last weekend. Spent three nights in a theme park view room. We had room 4840, which we loved since it was just one room away from the lounge. This was a mommy/son trip an I liked being so close so I could pop to the lounge for coffee or wine without leaving my kid for too long.

I have had previous CL stays at Wilderness lodge, Yacht, Beach, and Poly. Contemporary is my clear favorite this far.

Trip started well when I got a cheap upgrade on check in to first class for the EWR-MCO leg of our trip. I was super excited to find it was a Polaris class when we boarded. And promptly spoiled my son regarding regular air travel for now on... he asked lots of questions about "why is this plane so bad" when we were flying home :rotfl2:.

Ah, my first of many coffees this trip :). I may have gotten my CL value in that coffee machine... everything someone filled up from the carafe it was all I could do not to stop them and tell them how much better the machine coffee was!

One of the reasons Atrium gets my top spot is we were greeted SO well when we got off the elevator. The CM was very welcoming and gave us a great tour of the floor and lounge, really made sure we felt welcome and was aware of the amenities. She even offered to take our picture from the lounge balcony:

When we checked in Thursday, Contemporary was having water issues so our room wasn't ready. Apparently they didn't have hot water. Didn't affect us at all. After we got into our room they sent us a lovely welcome plane with chocolate strawberries, a white chocolate monorail, and a selection of macarons. I would have taken a picture but I dropped the whole plate and smushed it.

Great assortment of toiletries. No more toothbrush box, and no more bottles of water in the room. Of note they didn't have bottles of water in the mini fridge in the lounge like they do at WL. I didn't ask for any, they had water and ice out in the lounge for drinking.

Room view was amazing, better than I could have expected. Perspective in pictures really make things look farther away than they seemed "in real life."

We had a great weekend. I am booked in the garden wing for October with the whole family and I am not sure how we will survive the downgrade. I will have to stalk the AP discounts when they are released!

Thanks for the review, and glad you had a great time at CR Atrium Club. CR isn't the perfect resort or CL, but I have always had a soft spot in my travel heart for CR. For us it has been the one spot that has had consistent high quality CM service.... and still the only Disney resort where I've been recognized as a repeat guest.

I wish I didn't like Poly as a resort so much, otherwise I'd be hard pressed not to go with CR more often.

PS: Nice plane!

I love my kids trips too.

It was sopposed to be mom me dd version but eh, dh said I could take ds too. Now that dd lives away lil bro misses sister.

Dd loves seeing castle from the bed!

I agree with @GADisneyDad14 , I found the service good! It is hard to believe it's been 3 years since last stay.

Poly is my fav lounge, gf fav food, CR just is fun . Love the bathroom set up there the best too.

Definitely watch for discounts but the garden wing is nice. We got a great price from a TA and I don't know why I was expecting old rooms but our room was updated and very nice. The water has that sulfur taste so we got some packs of bottled water from the gift shop. If you have an AP they give you 20% off so $3 per 8 pack. They also have vending machines down the hall but one bottle of Dasani (large) was $3.25.

I have been reading through many pages of this thread, but if someone has a recent review of GF RPC handy, I’d appreciate a link over to that! I’d love to know what has been on the menu lately. Considering one night here.

Thanks!
