Those using swagbucks ???

Coupons on Swagbucks...I printed around 25 out and then headed to Walmart (I used 2 for the Ziplock and Windex offers). I was checking out in the self check out area. The employee working that area came over and asked if I had a lot of the print out coupons. She went and got a supervisor to ask if they could take that many. The supervisor said yes BUT if any did not scan, they could not key it in. I had one that would not scan and the lady, of course, would not key it in. I had her to take the cheese (what the coupon was for) off my register because I was only getting the cheese because of the coupon. I was not mad but just did not really need that item anyway. Just FYI to anyone that runs into something like this with printed coupons.

My local Walmart said the same thing.... :-(
 
I did the BarkBox offer last year, I see it is up to 3000 SB today. Can I do it again with a different email or is is it a 'one and done' offer? Has anyone done it twice?

I finally have all my ncraves back, including the best friends one that has been discussed! I've been stuck with 1-3 ncraves that would work for well over a month. I can't remember the last time I had more to choose from that actually worked. I hope they stay.

I would be really curious as to why they can’t manually enter the UPC to get the coupon to work. I work in a grocery store and it shouldn’t matter either way. We are however told to be very cautious with printed coupons because many people print one and then photo copy it. Stores won’t get credit when people do this when there is a limited number of prints.

Since you work in a grocery store, have you noticed any patterns as to what works? Often mine don't scan at all. No beeping to say that something's wrong, just not reading the sku. I've tried doing some with fast draft resolution and some with best quality and it doesn't seem to matter. Maybe it's my cheap staples paper.
 
I have been out of town and not doing SB at all for 10 days. Today I clicked on laptop guy, it asked me my race, and when I put in white it said there were no offers for me!

I wonder if it's more a thing of they may be moving towards no coupons at self-checkout like Target stores (at least in SoCal) have done and that's their compromise right now - coupons as long as they go through?

Possibly a trying to decrease employee involvement on things that require overrides, etc. and coupons being a big one maybe being behind that?

No I really haven’t. I would say 75% of the time they don’t scan.

Perhaps the concern about copies is why they aren’t keying it in if it beeps?
 
The few times I’ve tried to redeem SB’s printed out coupons I’ve had problems with them scanning, so I don’t bother with them anymore. There are so many fake “coupons” floating around out there, I really don’t blame stores for being extra cautious with those.

My Ziplock offer finally credited this morning! So happy about that. Now I can try on the second offer. Has anyone had it work the second time?

Also waiting on a Hotels.com shop and earn to credit. It’s been almost 6 weeks since my travel was completed. I put in a ticket on day 33 but haven’t heard anything yet.

My last two PayPal deposits have been slower than usual. One was 5 days and another has been 5 days today and still isn’t in my account.

I guess both are a manufacture coupon that is just posted in two different places. I had 4 at Kroger yesterday and she had to keep at it but they all finally scanned. I was in self check out but they still scan your coupons for you. My husband did the Gillette and it credited on time. I also did it, and it shows pending til Sept. 8.

My dh’s Gillette never credited. I put in a ticket and have sent them everything they asked for. They are ignoring me. I’ll be surprised if he gets the credit.

Most online coupons are from Coupons.com. They have affiliates programs that pays for advertising the coupons they get from the manufacturers. Target's coupons uses them, Acme Markets had used them (although now it's hard to tell if it's the same service or just the same manufacturer coupon from another service), many coupon bloggers link to them and thus SB as well. This is why you can print your 2 from one site, then go to another site and your limit is reached already; because it was the same coupon. I have found that SB doesn't always have the full list of coupons, sometimes I'll go directly to Coupons .com and I'll see more coupons, so it can be worth checking other sites as well if you're interested to actually use them.

Hilton shouldn't be a hassle, I've done 3 this year and got points for them all. It may just take a while depending on how quick SB is when they're notified from the hotel. Our first trip was quick, I think it was picked up within a week of checkout and got our points 30 days from the stay. The last 2 took a while. One I put a ticket in after 32 days had passed and it didn't get a pending date. Just submitted the receipt and they credited it. The other one took about 60 days from checkout to credit.

I had a Hotels .com offer that should have posted in July. Nothing. I sent in a ticket and all I got was a "too bad. We don't get credit if it doesn't go through". Basically it's MY fault that something doesn't credit properly?? I don't think so SB. But they wouldnt budge and I never got the SB. I won't be using SB for any future hotel stays that's for sure! I hope u have better luck!

Great. I didn’t use the buy 10 get one free night thing through hotels.com because I wanted the higher sb shop and earn and I just don’t use hotels.com very often. Thanks for sharing your experience. Hope I get a better response to my follow up email but I guess I won’t be too hopeful for a positive outcome. My ledger still shows those 2500 sb as part of my shop and earn pending total, but the line item under the actual pending ledger doesn’t show it anymore. :badpc:

As an aside, what would we do without the little yellow guy smashing the computer emoticon? Seems so many of us need to use it frequently. It so eloquently conveys the emotion we need to express.

I had the same thing happen with Orbitz. I had two purchases that showed the right amount of sb pending for a couple weeks, then showed zero. I waited until well after they should have credited and got the same response. Funny how it showed a correct amount for awhile though..
