On second though, I was originally thinking of companies that I associated with those states.

Arkansas - Wal-Mart.

Minnesota - 3M.

Idaho - Micron Technology. It's in my industry.

Sorry! I should have put "Fargo" in italics, but, yes, I think of the movie when I think of Minnesota, particularly Frances McDormand's "doncha know" Minnesota accent.

As I'm just back from MN, it would be mosquitoes.

I never think about Arkansas or Idaho but since I have heard of and probably cooked with Idaho potatoes, I guess I would say potatoes for that state.

OMG, I actually thought about this too, after I posted. I remember Evel Knievel from my childhood, all the crazy stunts he did and what a big deal was made of them at the time. Trying to cross the Snake River canyon in that rocket-type vehicle and crashing (which IIRC he did often).
