What is your least favourite holiday?

As in Christmas , Halloween , bonfire , valentine's etc

i would go with valentine days as I'm single.

I love/like all holidays but if I had to choose a least favorite I’d say MLK.

I can recognize the significance but for me personally it’s just another cold January Monday at work.

We do absolutely nothing in my house for Valentine’s Day and the 4th of July, so I guess I could say those. Not that I dislike them, but they just don’t hold enough appeal for me to make the effort to do anything special to celebrate. Of the handful of holidays that we do observe, Thanksgiving is easily the most boring.

For me, it's Halloween. I don't mind early in the evening, when we get the little local kids. That's cute! But after about 7:30, we get hoards of kids, many from not just other neighborhoods but other towns! And we get teenagers with just a mask and shopping bag. We buy 10 bags of candy and still run out every year. It didn't annoy me so much when we first moved here, but every year it gets more and more aggravating.

Valentines day - I learned to hate it when I was working my way through college and witnessed the insanity of it all. People would wait, with sometimes first-ever dates, for up to 2 HOURS for a table in the restaurant I worked at. They would be understandably upset by the time they sat down. The date could not have ended well. Here's the crazy thing; it was the exact same restaurant with the exact same food on 2/13 and 2/15. There was no wait whatsoever on those days. Been married 23 years now, dated 5 years prior to that, and my wife knows I do not celebrate Valentines day. If she wants to do something special the day or the week before or after I am all about that though.

Same here. I didn't like it as a kid either. We lived in a very rural area so we had to go to a different part of town to T or T. I HATED coming up with a costume, and I think we spend way too much on our kids costumes now. Thankfully all but one has outgrown it now.

Valentines Day. I hated it when I was single. Even now I hate it because if you try to go out to dinner the prices are much more expensive. Second would be New Years Eve because I have two kids so I never get to go out, and my friends always throw a party I can't go to.

Halloween mostly I don't like scary . My second least is Valentine's Day but only because I think the concept is stupid.

And I liked Christmas as a kid but now it's mostly a ton of work. Plus I am trying to be more minimalist so I don't enjoy suddenly having a bunch of new toys all over the place.
