I know this has happened to others here, but at Staples this morning the cashier asked if I was buying the gift card for credit card points. Ha! I was in a play dumb kind of mood, so I replied “No” He then proceeded to tell me how a guy came in during the last promo and wanted to buy 10 cards (gasp ) and uses them to fund his travel with credit card points. I smiled politely, but he was mind blown by the concept, and seemed impressed. As I was walking out I thought maybe I should have told him I was doing the same, he might have been willing to sell me more cards. Maybe next time

Dh and I each got one today but I considered trying to get more. The guy didn’t seem like he would’ve cared

Depends on how horror it is, can't say I enjoy them as much now as when I was younger. Love Sandy too! He's part of why I watched Covert Affairs. He also narrates some medication commercial which makes it so I don't actually mind it

I'm reading The Angel of Darkness to get ready for S2 of The Alienist, and that is DARK, but after GoT nothing can hurt me

I did not like Twilight or Divergent. I loved the Maze Runner books but hated the movies. And, of course I love LotR When we went to the UK last year I just had to seek out the pub in Oxford where Tolkien & C.S. Lewis used to hang out... I was in book nerd heaven.

Love LOTR! I am currently working in a huge cross stitch project of LOTR. I’ve only completed a small portion of it, but this is what it will look like when it’s done. It will probably take me more than a year to complete.

That was me Love The OC. I need to rewatch it again this year. I love how they used music and the hallelujah song throughout it to tie it all together. And they actually ended it well without leaving things open and it all made sense. Plus Seth Cohen Pretty sure I was also above the target audience but I don't care. I watch the bold type on freeform and I know I am for that but it's so good. Anxiously waiting for season 3 to start in a couple weeks.

Yes, onsite entire visit. BRV for 7 nights, then Yacht Club for 3. I can see when FP opens is correct to the check-in date of BRV. Is there any way to check beforehand that the stays are seen as 1 and the length of the window is correct to the Yacht Club check-out date?

First day, I've left flexible. We'll be dealing with the time change. Will need to get groceries delivered. Second day, DS will probably be chomping at the bit for SWGE, so probably FPs are less important that day too.

So 2 votes yes, 1 note no. I'll take more votes.

Our FP window is coming up on Tuesday. It depends if you are looking for hard to get FP like 7DMT or FOP, if so I would get up and book early.
Your post just reminded me that I may not be able to book for our whole trip because we have a split stay. You might only be able to book the first 7 nights. I can’t remember how that works with a split now.

There was briefly an issue where Disney wasn’t linking split stays for FPs. They fixed that so if you’re onsite for both parts of a split stay you should be able to book all FPs at once again. Good luck to both of you!

Does anyone have (or have any thoughts about) a Bank of America business card? They have two that I am considering: one that earns 1.5 points per dollar and has a 25,000 point SUB and one that earns 1% cash back and has a $300 SUB. For various reasons, Chase and AmEx are not options at the moment, and I am seriously missing having a SUB.

I got the BoA Biz MC last year (the one where you choose which category you want to receive 3% in) and I have it set for travel and am using it to pay my mortgage through Plastiq. It is currently coding as travel.

Love LoTR too. That cross-stitch is gorgeous and really intricate. That's a lot of 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and outlining on that pattern. It will be amazing when you finish!

United can have some good last minute saver deals, I’ve been tracking United to Europe for almost 2 years and the best time to book is a few weeks out during the school year. Have you learned about the excursionist perk? If not, google it. United can be a great deal.

If they have the annual fee card, they get 2 club passes per year so if they already paid the fee might as well keep it for the year and use the passes.

Thanks! I haven’t done a split stay in a few years, and it’s a short stay so glad I can try for all of my FP at once.

Busy day in between watching football reruns of last nights game and today’s live games (courtesy of DS).

Used my Cost cash card from cruise to get 3 USH tix plus an iTunes card (shoulda thought that through more and gone with TurboTax). Still have $6

Pulled the trigger on a nonstop AA flight home for our June California trip. Keeping SW flights (not nonstop) for now just in case we get caught in AA debacle. Taxes charged to Hilton card for airline credit, will upgrade seats if prices go down.

Linked CSR to Lyft and DoorDash. Will definitely be using Lyft for back and forth to airport on trips. Plus we’ll be taking Lyft from USH to DLR, so 15% off sound good.

Applied for new GSB account to fund with new CIP.

Me! Me! I looked up ticket prices, and I would love to have gone but, it's hard to beat watching from the warmth of home My friend at work has season tix and she and her her DH were actually holding the huge flag on the field before the game. Pretty neat for them!
