If that doesn't work, take a pen and insert it into the "reset" hole. Oops, we're talking about RotR and not internet modem... :rotfl2:
But seriously, I hope they get it up at some point today, and I hope all you guys that are there today get compensated if you don't get to ride. Definitely a hard day to "focus on the positive" of this ride's performance, when it hasn't even opened yet!
 
I understand that today is a big big disappointment to those who are trying to ride RotR. Try and understand this from the Cast Members side.
They are just as frustrated if not more than you are.
They want you to have a great experience.
They truly have no idea when if will open.
They have answered the “when will it open” question a million times already before you.
The front line Cast Members at Guest Relations have been yelled at, lied to and worked a million hours since RotR opened.
So when dealing with Cast Members today please take the time and give a little smile and understanding that it’s a hard day for everyone.

I'm starting to think they ain't opening today. I really wish they would give us some kind of explanation... I heard a guest ask a CM what was going on... The CM stayed in characters and answered that there were First Order patrol preventing them from boarding... The guy was less than thrilled by that answer...

That CM should get awarded for staying in character; I would have loved to have seen the guest's reaction!

Totally agree. That's why I think managers should be up front and center answering these questions.
 
It will still be the same answer. We’re working on it and trying to get it open.
But at least managers get better paid to deal with complaining guests. I also agree, regular CM shouldn't have to take the brunt of guest frustrations. They're already overworked and underpaid in my opinion!
 
Now I just don't know what to do on Friday. You are the only people I can brainstorm with so please allow me to do so. I have Saturday as a HS day so will go through the whole thing again. But Friday I was hoping to just hang out at epcot. I can do the BG hunt before I go but I'm just not sure I want to spend the day watching my app. I just want to ride once out of the 3 days and i will leave orlando happy. What if saturday is like today. I just never imagined it wouldn't open.

By the way I've tried to be kind to CM. I spoke to RotR CM about those cool coats instead of asking why it wasn't open and smiled at the MFSR CM who told me single rider wasn't open. I tried to imagine they were someone's daughters.
 
We have a 8am ADR at H&V. Current opening time is 9am. Let's say they move the opening up to 8am on the day we have that ADR at 8am. Will they still have the separate ADR line to enter the park? (So, we could plan to arrive by 7:30 for the 8am ADR.)
Or will we have to get there super super early and use the same line as everyone else trying to enter the park?

There is usually a breakfast line. The problem would be trying to find it with the crazy mobs of people...
 
I also want to see these cool coats people are talking about! I was there in Dec, but don't think they had them on then.
