I purchased tickets, but I only see 7pm party time on the website. My digital tickets in the app doesn't give any entry time. Do we know if party ticket holders will get in at 4pm for parties again?

Just a reminder for folks....

The Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party at MK now includes beer/wine, and it looks like from the description this will continue for the MNSSP Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...fireworks-dessert-party-tomorrowland-terrace/

The Plaza Garden Viewing Dessert Party at MK does not include beer/wine, and it looks like from the description this will also be the case at the MNSSHP Plaza Garden Viewing Dessert Party: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...pooky-spectacular-dessert-party-plaza-garden/

For thread regulars, no mention on either party’s webpage about parade viewing. :lmao:

I noticed that yesterday too. Thanks for posting with links.
BTW - Updated Post #1 yesterday with dessert party details.

That's generally the unofficial accepted time but as with every year they might decide to change it. Usually we have to wait until the first few parties report back to really know for sure. I'm not sure if there's been any indication that it would change, though, so it's probably a safe bet to assume 4pm is still good.

The party time is always "officially" 7pm - the 4pm early entry is a practice but it's not published on the tickets. It's a benefit they keep extending but could revoke at any time. As of now I haven't seen or heard anything indicating they wouldn't keep allowing it - why prevent all of the party people from coming in and spending money for an extra 3 hours in the parks LOL.

Our family needs to decide if we want to attend on 10/8, Thursday or 10/9 Friday. The $5 difference isn't the issue, it's the anticipated crowds..... hmmm decisions decisions....:hyper2:

Thanks for the info. I'd imagine they wouldn't want all party-goers at the tapstiles at 7pm!

We booked our first DCL trip and will be making a WDW mini-cation on the back end. We purchased tickets for the Halloween party, which we've been to a fair amount before. But this time we booked it for Halloween night which also happens to be on a Saturday this year. So, yea, that's gonna be packed.

Good thing, though, is we rented DVC points at Bay Lake Tower (I'm not using the acronym, it's weird) for the first time. So we can just walk back and forth. Pretty excited about this trip. A lot of firsts for us.

I’d wait.
If one sells out, buy tickets to the other.
If neither sell out, pick the best weather forecast.

We made our plans and bought our tickets completely forgetting about the holiday on 10/12. I hope that doesn't negatively impact the party too much!
In DL the party days are empty in the mornings. We hit all the major rides in the first couple of hours with no wait. Because no one wanted to go and use a ticket when they would either leave early because of the party or could wait until 4 to get in for the party. Is that something you see at WDW too?

Yes, daytime crowds are definitely less on party days (but maybe not to the level you see at DL). I avoid MK at all costs on non-party days during party season! It's a madhouse, especially in the evenings with people wanting to see HEA. Party days are much better crowd wise.

Thank you! Yes, the one non-party day we were at DL I had to keep stopping to breath. You couldn't see the ground because it was wall to wall people. I have never seen a park so packed! We're going to AK and Epcot on the one non-party day that happens during out trip!
Again, many thanks! I appreciate the knowledge!

My MIL called this morning to get tickets for 10/25. She called me while she was on hold because the person she spoke to told her it was sold out. I immediately went to the website and bought tickets for that day. Just an FYI for anyone else this may happen to. I told her that the cast member she spoke to and was on hold with obviously had no idea what she was talking about. I knew it wasn’t possible that the one particular day we can go would have sold out that fast. Looking forward to another MNSSHP! Now to decide which family themed costumes to do!

I purchased a pair of tickets for 10/25 yesterday myself too! So glad I did. I have this strange feeling that these are going to sell out quicker this year than people think...

What's silly about what I said? :confused3 Wasn't trying to be controversial at all. Just saying I wouldn't be surprised if people hold off on buying non refundable party tickets for 6+ months from now until we see how things shake out with this virus.
I didn’t think you were silly. Don’t be upset. Hugs! I was being sarcastic, but I’ve been told I’m too caustic and should be nicer. 🙄

I truly hope they’ll have a vaccine shortly. I’m frontlines (hospital), so I really will die or survive if it goes pandemic. No point in worrying. More dead from flu so far.

I was actually thinking the opposite...that more people might hold off on buying tickets until last minute because of Coronavirus fears and how it could impact travel plans over the next few months.
I agree. I also think when you’re going in a week where there are 3 or more parties, the pressure is off to buy. You can afford to wait. So you might as well.
