Can I ask if there is a specific food location where I can collect my dining plan cup from and also (apologies if this should be on the restaurant forum) when it says 2 adult credits are used for a large pizza, is this a qs credit or ts?

You can get your cup from The Mara. I would consider paying out of pocket for a pizza if there is a chance that you will be short on credits. A one topping pizza is under $20 but uses 2 qs credits at the food court.

This was the one-partial savannah view. IMO, nothing "partial" about it. My previous stay had been in a "savannah view" and this one had a better view of the savannah. Sunset Savannah.

Looking for information about the resort activities. On my next stay (4 nights) I only plan to do one park day, because as I remember the resort has so many great activities. Any you recommend? I'm especially interested in the cookie decorating-I'm staying at Jambo, but can we do it at Kidani also?

Boere breakfast. Also this is big for me because me family hates Sanaa but I love it, the deliver via room service. Obviously much more expensive but at least we can eat together.

We actually fly in on the 28th but we decided to stay at Pop Century for that night. We have a value studio waitlisted for that night, but doubtful that it will come through. Dad has never stayed at Pop Century so we are fine with the "split" stay.

For 2 adults (it'll be our honeymoon!) at Jambo, which would you choose - Deluxe Studio Savanna View, or standard 2-queen Savanna View?

My thoughts/considerations:

• Deluxe gives a bit more space since we don't really need the second bed, BUT
• Standard hotel room is more recently refurbished, and better floor options (I've read the 3rd and 4th floors are ideal for animal viewing, and all DVC rooms are on the 5th floor)

I can't decide, what do you think?

Also, do you have a preference between the Kudu Trail and the Zebra trail?

It’s a personal thing but we went with a studio just so we knew we would definitely only have one bed. I dislike having the second bed since it’s just the two of us.
However I definitely get wanting a brand new room.

I like both Kudu and Zebra trail, however, Zebra trail is closer to the Mara QS and the pool/hot tubs if that matters to you.

Thanks for the input! I don't mind the second bed but I do like the idea of having a kitchenette, even if to just warm up a pastry or leftovers in the room. But I really like the laminate floors in the refurb rooms (old hotel carpet can be so gross) and the walk in shower. I'm still so torn (and clearly very indecisive)

Good to know, thanks! With all else being equal (rooms, views, etc.), I do prefer the convenience to food and pool

Are you sure you had a value? They are almost impossible to book unless you actually own at AKL. It’s very rare that you can rent points for one, and they are never booked directly through Disney. They are at the front of the building on the ostrich and giraffe trails.

there are deluxe studios with partial savanna views. If you want one, it is best to make that your only request.

I booked a value studio through Disney for 3 nights in August. I didn't realize it was rare.

Your best bet would be Zebra Trail close to the elevator. Easy access to Mara from there.
