I have too many favorites to pick just one photo but here is my mom and me at the HEA dessert party this past December. We are a bit camera shy so there are many years where we don’t have any photos, but our Disney trips have given us dozens of pictures that I will cherish forever. These times remind me to be extra thankful for family and friends and our time together.
Meeting Groot in
Disneyland (DCA) was awesome, I wish he could meet in WDW too. He really is a gentle giant! And of course he says “I am Groot!”
I went on the Maharajah Jungle Trek trail for the first time recently and realized I have been missing out on some beautiful scenery in Animal Kingdom. It’s a nice reprieve from the crowds.
I watched Epcot Forever from the Japan pavilion and found it so nostalgic and beautiful. I hope they use the kites again in HarmonioUS.
During my solo trip I had the best meet and greet with Pooh in Epcot. The location is a bit hidden and it was in the early evening and British Revolution was playing in the courtyard by Christopher Robin’s room. I didn’t see any line so I wasn’t sure if Pooh was meeting. Well, I walked up to the door and through the glass window I saw Pooh dancing to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen (the band was very loud).
I got Pooh all to myself, the CM took photos on my phone and I had live photos on so I basically have a video of the m&g since he took dozens of pictures. Pooh showed me around the room, gave me the biggest hug, and I have the cutest video of Pooh snuggling up closer to me for the picture. Usually characters keep a polite amount of distance but this time Pooh was so snuggly!
One of my favorite moments of my trip and now I’m listening to Queen on repeat!
