At least I’m not the only oneGranted I am saying this as someone who loves magic bands and usually has like 10 with me each trip to switch up each day and will definitely continue to pay for them going forward

I do it too. We bring a gallon size ziploc with us on each trip with all our special bands. I have specific bands for each park lol.At least I’m not the only one
The selection is pretty sparse right now for my upcoming trip.I do it too. We bring a gallon size ziploc with us on each trip with all our special bands. I have specific bands for each park lol.
If you're a AAA member, APs are still available for purchase through their website. Has anyone purchased through them before? Is there any difference in hte process between purchasing through Disney and purchasing through AAA . I know they cost a bit less.Yup, that’s it. No more AP or ticket sales for the time being.
Another question I have is if they are still doing finger scans at entrances? If they are concerned about touch points, isn't that one a biggie? Or do CMs wipe them down between each guest?
Me too. I have to wear park related bands to the specific park lol.I do it too. We bring a gallon size ziploc with us on each trip with all our special bands. I have specific bands for each park lol.
But we were asking about room only reservations for those of us with APs.Yup, that’s it. No more AP or ticket sales for the time being.

Absolutely my favorite one too! I love my magic bands and will be said if/when they fully do away with them. I knew it was inevitable eventually. Smart phones just do too much. I do wish they would push functionality for smart watches though. I would love my Apple Watch to be able to do FastPasses, room opening, park entry, etcYeah same here - between my wife and I we have a number of limited edition ones that trigger different colored lights and music at the different parks. Favorite might be my wife's Tiki Room one that sings "Tiki, Tiki, Tiki" when scanned anywhere in MK
While CM's wipe them down occasionally, even before the parks closed, policy was NOT to wipe them down after each guest.
Did you know you can bypass the finger scan?

I was on a video conference with Disney Sales yesterday. They essentially said that planning a trip around YOUR available days are no longer (aka Airfare>Hotel>Tickets>Park Planning). They now recommend planning around THEIR available days: Park Planning>Tickets>Hotel>Airfare. Basically, don’t plan on coming unless you can guarantee your park days first. After rereading everything, it does look like guests will be able to reserve park reservations for next year through September 2021, and it actually makes sense. How would people properly plan and schedule for their trip whether flying or driving, if they don't know if they can even get into a park?
