And the hits just keep coming...

I reached out DVC via chat to see if they can offer any assistance and I shouldn't have... Instead I received a lot of unprovoked and undeserved disrespect and sass from the CM on the chat.

I gave her a quick overview of the fun and asked if she recommended any options or suggestions to assist. I shared with her we have the 30 days throughout the next 11 months @ the polly and we were getting pretty anxious as there is a significant gaps in resort/park booking and this 14 day booking situation runs a high risk of leaving us without park access at the holidays and high peak times we're booked.

She went on to state that the ability to book the number of days to match your resort stay days is purposely limited to prevent DVC from booking an "Unlimited" number of days as they need to allow for new cash reservations. She stated DVC does not any special preference, which I agree with that completely; each resort room/guest should be exactly the same.

I pointed out to her she was inferring DVC has a stricter rues with the 14 day park limit than cash guests. She concurred. She then asked if I want to cancel to which I asked "the reservation or membership" and will DVC reimburse me for the membership and AP. :)

This leads me to wonder... is she just sputtering nonsense or has Disney truly limited DVC members the ability to book (the opportunity) a park for each day of the stay. I'd like to believe she enjoyed an adult beverage at lunch and this is nonsense.

Though the 14 day park limit has been shared with a bunch of folks, is everyone DVC members or a mix of cash guests too?

Oh wow. That's the first time I've heard that regarding DVC members. Thinking she's had a long day and was done. So sorry!
 
After a 2.5 hour hold this morning (on 800 number, option 3) and an hour of IT trying to fix the problem, I got a call back from Disney this afternoon and they corrected the issue by making a dummy account, moving the tickets around, making reservation, and restoring account. Was pleasantly surprised Disney IT fixed first, then call me with the good news. If you are still having the 1-day only issue, call IT and get them to open a ticket, tell them the days you want, and hopefully they'll fix it on their end.
 
They were able to kind of fix mine. Had to make a dummy account but because I made a custom magic band they couldn’t link to my resort stay. So now I have to wait to book with the AP on the 26th even though I have a resort stay. 800 number
How long did you stay on hold? I'm going on 2 hours and 45 min.
 
I still can't book more than 3 days against my AP even though I have a 7 night hotel reservation.
I had 2 reservations, 1 for 1 night, and 1 for 6 yesterday. After being able to only book 3 days I contacted disney several times. The first guy said to cancel the first reservation. I did that yesterday and changed my 6 night to a 7 night reservation. Still no luck being able to book more than 3 park days.
 
So when I can get through, I'm going to ask them to do the same thing (read it here and elsewhere, know someone who also had it work) - at this point I will probably try to call first thing in the morning since I haven't been able to get through.

Here's my question to you and anyone else who's done this: can they do this to everyone on the reservation (clone MDE, move tickets, etc.)? My wife manages her own MDE through her own email address, but we're all on the reservation (I think the kids are managed by me).
It’s only my daughter and I so I’m not positive but if her tickets are on your MDE I don’t see why they can’t. Good luck.
 
Hallelujah. After my second 3.5 hour wait today I got a CM who was able to go in and secure my last two reservations. I'm not sure what kind of magic she preformed to do it, but she said she could try something for me and it would reset the complimentary magic bands we had already ordered. I told her I was MORE than fine with that, haha. The number I called was (800) 848-6413. This was by far the most helpful line I have called since starting this debacle 36 hours ago.
 
Question for AP folks with a pending renewal certificate AND an inability to book park passes.

When you go into your "profile" in MDE, does it display multiple APs; the currentunexpreid pass AND the renewal certificate? And is the information different that the information on the MyPlans/Tickets & Memory Marker tab?

The reason I ask is I am having the issue with the ability to book park days. When I view the two areas, the information is different. Within the Myplans section, it lists the active pass and the renewal certificate. Within my profile, it ONLY has the renewal. I find it odd that the information differs and I am unable to meet the criteria to reserve a park entry.

Steps to find your profile: Click on your name at the top of the MDE window

Curious... do you recall the persons name that helped resolve your issue? I ask as earlier today it was mentioned that my custom magic band may be an issue; a band ordered and received approx 8 months ago. I told her I'd find it and throw it in the trash barrel if it resolved the problem. :)
 
Was finally able to book park days last night. Realized in the chaos of trying to get it all done I mixed up 2 of our days. When I go in now it tells me all parks are full, I know they aren’t. I’m afraid if I cancel I won’t be able to rebook our days! I would rather have any park for those days over no park if I can’t get park days back! Anyone else have this situation happen and were you able to resolve it? Doesn’t seem worth calling and adding to the backlog. Any help would he appreciated!

Mine shows my current pass (but expiration hasn't been extended), and my renewal certificate. Gold DVC AP. Only the dates for current pass are different.

My current pass expires at the end of September. If the current pass, which is missing in the profile. If the info is pulled for the profile data, then it make sense that all days are gray as the system would think I don't have a pass, therefore not eligible to make a reservation...

I just checked and after July 28, there are all days avail for APs and staying on property. Are you AP or staying on property?

Yes the 2 passes are in both. I was able to book 6 park days yesterday morning, but nothing since then. I just realized the park days I could book were within the pass listed under my profile dates (prior to extension). I think you may have figured this out!! Now if IT would pick up, I could see if that works!

That would be awesome!! I am on the ignore, I mean hold queue too for 2:20 so far. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.

Another thought... the certificate has a 2030 date, indicating the pass isn't active. For me, I have no passes according to the profile and for you, you're pass expires and the certificates aren't linked as a continual renewal...

Glad it worked out for you! :flower: I can't wait on hold for that long so i'm going to try e-mailing Disney again
