I'm sure this has been asked and answered here before but can't find it exactly...if We want to app for csp, 28 mos. for app is 12/7/20 (2016) bonus awarded statement 12/18/16-1/17/17....... does this mean we should wait until after 1/17/2021 to app?

It would only be 8k spend for both CSP And CSR. Venmo can come in handy too. I will Venmo my kids $. Mark it for tuition and they deposit the $ and them I transfer the $ back to my bank account. There would be a fee to do this. But helps on large MSRs.
Do you know if this would would with Barclay? I would like to just use the easy button to spend the rest of the $2K I need to the spending bonus. And with the MS/Serve mess going on I think it would be worth to just spend the $60 in fees... I will probably try to spend some of it but have other MSR to worry about.

Mine are all showing this morning on my Chase personal and business cards. I've got 5 soon to expire RiteAid offers. Has anyone been in a RiteAid store and do they have Disney gift cards? They closed the one nearest me several years ago, when CVS essentially chased them out.

Since they all came back, I'm a little happier about my purchases at Lowes yesterday. All in I spent $510, but that includes $250 at Best Buy. Got my Amex email pronto.

Can't remember if Chase acknowledges use of the offer or not. My remaining Lowes offers have a longer expiration so I'll wait a bit.

Thanks for the BOA reminder.

They did last year so I can't imagine they wouldn't now. I have only been getting 5% offers for them lately so I haven't bothered.

I think you mean 48 months from your application will be December 7, 2020? Bonus points were awarded with statement that closed on January 17, 2017. If that is correct then I believe you would have to wait until January 18th to apply (first making sure that you don't have any Sapphire products open at time of application). Hopefully others will chime in on this as well.

My CSR application was October, 2016; bonus points were awarded on December 14, 2016 statement. I will be doing the MDD on December 15th.

thank you- exactly what I was asking

Looking for some guidance on my upcoming MDD. My travel credit resets on December 14th. I would like to use it (and would be able to right away). If I PC the CSR on December 16th would I be okay to do the MDD on December 21 and 22 (Monday and Tuesday). I'm a bit worried that I won't get the new cards in time (my mail from Florida is very slow getting here) for dd's tuition and res payments due on January 10th, but I read that I would be okay to pay a few days late (without penalty).

Also my AF posted on the November statement. If I leave the card open until December 16th can I still get a portion of the AF refunded?

I am using the end of statement for DH but @miztressuz posted something the other day it might be based on the date when you met the MSR. So for instance DH’s statement closed on 11/19 but he met the MSR on 10/29. I am just being cautious since it is only a matter of days and I really would prefer not to mess it up.

Yes, you get a prorated refund on the CSR AF. The CSR should be overnighted so you should probably it before Christmas or slightly after.

I think my timeline is right around yours with travel reset and going for the two cards.

Yes! I just got it out of my mailbox. Had checked around 5 and it hadn't arrived yet, and was reading that a lot of others got checks today so it reminded me to go look.

Check was $259.90 and is about $20 more than I had calculated.
First check was $229.06, so $488.96 back from an AP that was approximately $675. I upgraded an old hopper with gift cards so a dollar here a dollar there. Activated Nov 6, 2019 for food and wine, then went in January and February, so three visits. I was treated well and waiting for my refund was not an issue as I'd already got 3/4 of the use I would have expected. (Had to cancel the Nov 2020 trip.)
My check for DH was about $30 less than I was expecting but whatever, just glad to have something! DS check is about $20 higher than I expected LOL, but that's his money. We are not going in December now, but I don't think I want to deal with trying to cancel mine and dd's pass, I think I'll just do our DVC renewals, for our April trip. Probably will only use them for one trip, but I'll pay a bit extra, just in case a second trip pops up :-)

Yeah, they are all over the place with refunds. I think I read a couple of posts over on the Theme parks board where some people with expirations within days of mine got significantly less - one that was Nov 9th, and then one claiming to get a much higher check.

Problem is, no one gives complete info, such as did they just cancel last week or did they cancel in the same time frame, or are they talking about 2 passes.

It's too confusing to follow when the info is disjointed.

So, I 'may' go in January, stay at BCV for a week and take long walks in mild weather as opposed to wintry January and February here. Some of those points would expire this use year. I really want that warmer getaway. Doing a park is an option but Disney just announced raising to 35% so will January be empty? Or will there be a lot more escapists from the North?

I can spray lysol, hand sanitize and isolate very easily in a studio. Not worried about that aspect. More worried about driving and stops enroute, but I may have come up with a rather unique solution, so we will see.

They do, but not as quickly as Amex. I used a Chase offer on Nov 5 and got the email that i had used it on Nov 9.

Thank you. I was just going to search my mail. You saved me the time. On my way outside to start winterizing my backyard, putting away chairs and pillows from the gazebo, etc. I've left them out but covered (not the cushions and pillows) in previous years, but I have actual space in my shed so they get to live inside this winter. I have a patio heater on the patio under the gazebo, but no one visits, except for babysitting the grands occasionally. If we get some warm days I can always pull out the camping chairs I guess.

Plus I have to make the snow blower accessible just in case. It's not been needed the last three years. I've probably jinxed us. I have the pictures to prove we can have snowbanks that last, but anyone who has just been here a few years has not had this experience.

PayPal is acting screwy. Trying to transfer $300 and it refuses to do it. Never had this happen before.

None of the Rite aids by me have had Disney GCs recently

Checked my BOA and I have Visible, Doordash and the $10 Sam's Club deal, which I have at least 7 offers to renew Sam's on my Chase cards. We still have a Sam's membership under younger DD so it's a waste, plus $10?? off $45?? when we've basically gotten it free when using Amex?

It may be time to let this card go and churn it down the road. Earlier offers that I redeemed almost covered the $79? annual fee, but now it's not performing. Previously I've had a lot of restaurant offers, which is what I would primarily redeem through takeout, since we do so much takeout and delivery, with the pandemic and without.
Question about Sam's club - I have had a membership through work for a long time that is expiring next month. I would like to start with my own membership - what is the best deal? Is there an Amex one going on?

I'm not aware of any Amex offer at the moment, but Dec/Jan/Feb was the approximate time frame for last years offer. My 'savings' column on my DD's AU card shows $15 Sam's offer plus the $25 off $45 membership offer, plus then Sam's has their own membership promo where they gave a $20 gift card. Of course we don't know if they will do any other offer in the future, but of you don't expire until next month, it's worth watching for.

I just got an email from Chase about an offer I used a week ago. Nothing so far on the offer I used on Saturday.
