Engineer is my sons favorite role. He won't be happy if he can't do that because we're a party of 4 and a party of 2 gets the last 2 seats. Maybe they'd trade with us....

The problem is that pilot seems better than any role. We never got to even do it. I understand they can't let you ask, EVERYONE would ask. It's just lame though that in several rides we never got to do it.

I agree. We've been able to each try all the different roles because of Covid. I would gladly let others pick whatever they want to try. I don't really care what I do. After about 5 rides on the Falcon I finally figured out what I'm supposed to be shooting at/aiming for. lol I'd rather just watch anyway. Certainly don't want to fly the thing!

I'd prefer that it just have a few different randomized scenarios like Star Tours. Then again, if it did, it would be the same as Star Tours, just not as good. Honestly, the best thing about it was the pre-show/waiting area on the Falcon.

Not shocking especially if they are working on the Book of Boba. If they have a steady stream of shows in the "Filoni-verse" (maybe like a few months between each) .. that will be pretty awesome. I don't want Star Wars "TV" to turn into the Arrowverse where there are 4+ shows going on at the same time (with 20+ episodes each) that is just too much to keep up with .

These little two month snippets the Mandalorian gives us is nice.

I am liking streaming TV better than traditional TV - short seasons, no interruptions, not as many filler episodes, no commercials, etc. Finally cut the cord (for the last two years they basically were giving me a low-tier package for free, but now that has run out -- see ya TV).

We never got a chance to ride this when we were down in January but based on the descriptions we think Disney missed a big opportunity to greatly increase capacity. While some people love the more active approach of MF (compared to Star Tours), some of us would be happy just taking the ride. They could have had a passive passenger section for maybe 10 people. They could have had one line for the active section and one for the passive. This would also mean that people who really aren't interested in the role playing don't end up lessening the attraction for people that are really into being the pilot, engineer or navigator.
