I'm sorry Pandora was a little bit of a bust, but I'm glad the rest of the morning was fun! And sounds like a good dinner at Ohana!

Ahh that stinks that MVMCP didn't work out the way you wanted :( Hindsight is always 20/20, you did the best you could!

Sounds like a good start at DHS! Love the pics of Gwen with Frozone!

We loved the Pixar area, we got to say hi to Frozone and Mr Incredible and we loved the num num cookie!
Before the pandemic the parties started getting so crowded.
I sure miss Ohana, yummy!

Before we even decided to go at the same time, we talked a lot about that we didn't need to stay together the whole time.
I think that is the key to success.
While we obviously want to spend time together (the whole point of going on a trip together!) we also want to be able to regroup as a family without it being perceived as negative.
I guess setting expectations is key.

Miss L and I did have a call one Saturday morning, and talked through some of the planning. I had most of it already laid out and mostly ran the ideas by her to see what she thought.
I like that idea. It lets the other person chip in but still takes advantage of the person who knows more about how to plan!

I would def recommend talking with your sister about how much together and apart time they want. And what the big priorities are for them. It helps to set like 1 or 2 goals a day. Do those first and then everything else is golden, you know? And maybe sometimes, in order to achieve those 1 or 2 goals, it means splittling apart or meeting up after lunch
That’s also a great idea. I will send her a few disney planning book and a few good websites so she can look into it and know a little bit more of what she wants beforehand.

Thank you so much for sharing, that was very helpful!

To appease the children who were mad that we didn't let them go fly on banshees by themselves,
Nothing like a margarita to make it up to the kiddo :earboy2:

Pandora was practically a bust! The L's didn't hate it but def were not impressed.
That's too bad. I remember I had such low expectations for it but absolutely love it. Hard to imagine others not doing so but clearly things were not on your side today.

IMG_6329
HI!!!! This was not zoomed in! This guy was right next to the truck!
Wow! That is crazy close

IMG_1917
You can see both in this picture. The headbands have become part of Morgan's "Style"
Love how they are matching. Casey has two of these and I'm not sure I even realized they were male or female.

IMG_0278
Oh what I wouldn't give for a Mickey Pretzel right about now. That is the one snack I have wanted above all others.

IMG_6342
Sooooo good!!! I really come for just this! The meats came out after that. And we ate a TON!!!!
I've only done Ohana once and it was like 20 years ago. The meats hold zero interest to me but man I could so go for a bowl of wings, pot stickers, and noodles. I'll have to go one of these days just for that.

he party ended up being a big bust for us! The kids were exhausted! And it was freezing and I apparently was so salty about the night that I wrote down no notes! This... this is all I typed for the night!

6:00 PM: Arrived at Magic Kingdom
Oh no! We went to the Xmas party once and it was a bust for us too. Halloween was a better experience but not really sure the parties are for us. With the cost and added crowds doesn't seem to be the value it may have once been.

I was sooo looking forward to the parade and I was distracted almost the whole time. And Gwen was not enjoying it.
Poor thing. Clearly the kiddos were all tired.

Big L had them “skip” over to the fast pass line for Toy Story Mania,. I guess the gate was left open, and he took the opportunity to hop over. :confused3 I am sure Morgan was internally freaking out. She is a rule follower. He said that they person at the front only slightly questioned them, so they successfully got on the ride fast. (Disclaimer: I did not recommend this!)
Oh no!!!! That is hilarious. Casey is in the Morgan rule following club so she would have been right there with her.

IMG_2119
So, I snapped Christmas decor photos as we walked over to Toy Story Land.
Oh MGM at Christmas just makes me so happy. Can't wait to see more pics of your day.

Day Six: More Meets and a lunch far far away

I left us off still hanging out. Gwen went around and showed the boys all of the Jack Jacks in the area. While the kids were doing that I noticed that Eda didn't seem to have a line. So, I mentioned that we could go see here. And Miss L was all for it.
IMG_2157

Morgan, Gwen, myself Miss L and Little L headed over to meet Eda, while Andy, Big L and Little M hung back, while Little M finished his snacks.

We headed in and waited only a minute before it was our turn. As we walked up Miss L practically pushed Little L out of the way to meet Eda first. Which was hilarious!
IMG_2162
Between leaving Little L in the bathroom and now this, Morgan and Gwen were dying. They thought it was hilarious.

The kids got a picture after Miss L was done.
IMG_2162

IMG_6450
Eda was very nice. I believe she commented on Morgan and my flip sequins shirts.

After our meet with Eda, we decided it was time to move on. But not without one last photo op.
IMG_2165
I love this photo. It came out so cute!

We headed to our next fastpass, Star Tours.

IMG_2169

IMG_2174
We waited no time to get on. Not sure why Gwen is making this face. But the kids did discuss who they thought would be the rebel spy.

IMG_2175
None of them ended up being it. But that is ok. Everyone enjoyed the ride and I think miss L did ok with motion sickness.

At this point we were getting hungry but we had one more fast pass that we needed to burn. So we headed that way.

We ended up walking on Muppets 3D Vision without using our fast pass. Morgan didn't want to see the show, but we said too bad, everyone else wanted to.

IMG_2179
We hadn't done this in a long time.

IMG_2189
And I have to say I really enjoyed it! I remember not liking it the first time. But did this time. I particularly liked it when Sweetums came out at the end. I always liked him as a kid for some reason.

After the show, we walked out with everyone, and looped back up to the front of the theater.
IMG_2192
A wreath I found on the way.

IMG_2178
We came back to scan in to check in for our fast pass and then promptly turned around and left! And I have to say, the CM didn't even flitch at us doing this. Now, I could try and get us a fastpass for Tower of Terror! Or at least try.

It was now about 12:30 and we were all hungry for some real food. So, we headed to Galaxy’s Edge for Lunch!

This was the first time going into Galaxy's Edge for the L's. So, we tried to let them check things out but also keep moving towards our lunch destination. As we were hungry! It did take about an hour to get to Docking Bay 7. And we needed to eat.

The line to order wasn't too bad but the seating option weren't great. Today was the day before the opening of Rise of the Resistance. And they were doing a media even with the area still open. And one of the side areas was completely closed off to day guests.

So, we ended up having to sit seperatly to eat. Which was fine. But it was hard to even find those seats!

Gwen orderd the kids
Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip Youngling Meal
Crispy Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, and Seasonal Vegetables
IMG_2201
Gwen didn’t like the chicken but ate the mac and cheese. Morgan ended up eating a little of the chicken. I think Andy tried it and said the chicken was suprisingly good for being strangly square shaped.

Morgan went with the Shrimp and Noodles. Which is not on the menu right now, and might be because it was just ok.
IMG_2203
Morgan did not like this! It had a citrus dressing on it and she didn't like it at all. She kind of picked at it. I think she ate the shrimp and that was it. I tried it, and it was def just ok.

Andy & I decided to split the
Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread
Plant-based Meatballs, Herb Hummus, Tomato-Cucumber Relish, Pita
IMG_2202
sorry for the blurry picture
We love this! I highly recommend this! The plant based meatballs have alot of flavor and you would never know there weren't meat. And the hummus is well spiced as well. And who doesn't want warm Naan?

I don't think I got a drink, as I knew we were headed into Oga's next. I don't know what the L's got, as they were sitting across the way.

Once everyone was done, we had to head over to check in to Oga's! I ran ahead of everyone and grabbed 2 bags of popcorn in the market area. I was worried that Morgan didn't get enough to eat.

IMG_2206
It worked out well, as it gave them something to munch on while we waited. And we waited awhile!

I am sure it was because we were a bigger group. And I think we checked in a little late. But we took turns running to the bathroom while we waited.

Actually, over by the bathrooms, they had some media interviews going on. But I didn't reconnize anyone. IMG_2209

Some storm troopers came around while we were waiting in line, of course.
IMG_2211

Up next... will the L's like Oga's better than Pandora?

Sounds like a good start at DHS! Love the pics of Gwen with Frozone!
It was a good start and the day just got better and better!

We loved the Pixar area, we got to say hi to Frozone and Mr Incredible and we loved the num num cookie!
Before the pandemic the parties started getting so crowded.
I sure miss Ohana, yummy!
I always feel silly loving the num num cookie, I mean it's just a chocolate chip cookie but it is so good!

I love seeing all of the Christmas decorations- the parks just look so pretty! A Christmas trip is on my pipedream list.
You guys would love it! For sure!

While we obviously want to spend time together (the whole point of going on a trip together!) we also want to be able to regroup as a family without it being perceived as negative.
I guess setting expectations is key.
Def talking before you get there is def key!

That’s also a great idea. I will send her a few disney planning book and a few good websites so she can look into it and know a little bit more of what she wants beforehand.

Thank you so much for sharing, that was very helpful!
Glad I could help! I hope you have a great trip!

Oh MGM at Christmas just makes me so happy. Can't wait to see more pics of your day.
Oh MGM...

Halloween was a better experience but not really sure the parties are for us. With the cost and added crowds doesn't seem to be the value it may have once been.
Yeah, I think that is how we are now.

I've only done Ohana once and it was like 20 years ago. The meats hold zero interest to me but man I could so go for a bowl of wings, pot stickers, and noodles. I'll have to go one of these days just for that.
Another good one to do together, one day!

Wow! That is crazy close
We had them this close on our very first trip waaaaay back when. It was really cool to have them so close again!

Nothing like a margarita to make it up to the kiddo
Maybe I should of gotten one!

'Ohana is definitely on my list for next trip...fingers crossed
Fingerscrossed!!!

Day Six: Oga's & some Star Wars Fun!

I left us off waiting to get into Oga's. I was hoping since we were a big group an dhaving to wait so long that we would get an actual table.

We waited a full half hour to get inside. Not sure if that was a normal amount of time to wait at that point. But it wasn't too bad.

IMG_2214
This sign is on the right as you walk into the bar.

IMG_2211
And this is a door to hide the phone and hostess stand stuff. I just love it.

It was finally time to go inside! Unfortantly we did not get a table. They put us at one side of the bar. We took up most of the one side and the adults ended up on easch end and filled the middle in with all of the kids. Which worked out well except the adults couldn't really talk to each other which was a bit of a bummer.

We all ordered some drinks.
IMG_6452

Most of the kids ordered this:
IMG_6451
Carbon Freeze
POWERADE® Lemon Lime, Wild Strawberry, Blueberry, and Green Apple Popping Pearls

There is dry ice in the very bottom of the cup and that makes it bubble and is lots of fun.

IMG_2221

IMG_2217
I ordered the Fuzzy Tauntaun.
Fuzzy Tauntaun
Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Simply® Orange with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, and "Buzz Button Tingling" Foam
It is basically a Peach Schnapps drink all the ladies would drink in college but the tingling foam is such a weird sensation! And really makes it a fun unique drink. And I get it just for that.

Andy ordered the The Outer Rim
The Outer Rim

Patrón Silver Tequila, Cedilla Açaí Liqueur, Lime Juice, Pure Cane Sugar, with Black Salt and Exotic Fruit Purée
Which is basically a margarita. Which has become Andy's drink of choice at restaurants.

Both were good, although I wouldn't say the most amazing drinks ever. Oga's is def more about the whole expierence.

Which it is LOUD in there! But the kids loved it. It was like they were in a real bar. And we joked about it how it was there first trip to a bar.
IMG_2216
I mean look at that smile. That is a smile of I am doing something that I probably shouldn't be doing in real life. Ha!

And looking at it, I think Little L ordered this:
Jabba Juice

Simply® Orange with Pineapple, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, and Blueberry Popping Pearls

IMG_2223
Love DJ Rex! And the music in here.

As we were all hanging out, I noticed the the L's were paying there tab already. And I started to worry that they weren't enjoying it. But at that point, what could we do...

I decided to order 2 of these as well after our first round.
IMG_2231
Andy and I had ordered the adult version of this on our adult only trip and it is really fun. And we knew the girls would like it.

The adult version is:
Rodian Ration
Tito's Handmade Vodka, Dekuyper Pucker Sour Apple, Green Apple, Sprite®, and Boba Balls with a Pop
It is basically a glorified jello shot. But again taken up a notch and just fun! I am a sucker for sour things, so the Pucker Sour Apple flavor is perfect for me and the boba balls inside the jello is fun.

The kids split the kid version:
Oga's Obsession
Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade, Cotton Candy Flavor, Blueberry Popping Pearls with a Bursting Dried Fruit Mixture
I didn't try the kids version as 4 kids splitting that small container went fast!

Gwen decided that she had to go to the bathroom at some point, and Andy ended up taking her. (Although he was SUPER annoyed that she needed go yet again) Sigh...

I ordered Andy another drink to reward him on this task.
IMG_2236
Gamorrean Ale - New Belgium Brewing Co.
Red Ale with Roasted Caramel, Hop Character, and Touch of Grapefruit | ABV 5.2% - IBU 22
I feel like I tried this but I don't really remember what it tasted like.

I went to pay after I ordered the beer for Andy and that is when I reallized that the L's had paid there bill because they paid for our drinks as well! They paid right away to pay before we could! They did enjoy Oga's!! YEAH! When we left, they said they wanted to pay as a thanks for me planning everything for them. Which was nice, but not nessisary.

Andy enjoyed his beer and the kids finished up there jello shot thing. We got to hear the bartenders sing which is my favorite part when being in there. And we headed out.

The plan was to wait in line for Millennium Falcon. At this point in time, there was still no fast pass for it. So, it was stand by only. We all hit the bathroom first as the posted wait was 50 minutes.
IMG_2239
We got in line at 2:40. I let the kids use my phone to try and the data pad stuff to kill some time. The line did move fairly consistantly so it didn't feel too bad.

But we did wait till 3:35 to get all the way to the Hondo Animatronic. We did have to split up as each spaceship holds 6 people and we were a party of 8. Eventually Andy and I said that the girls could go with the L's and we would go by ourselves. We had been on the ride a number of times.

When we got in this room, I asked if the L's wanted a picture at the table and Miss L said "Why?" Ha! (she's not a big star wars fan!)
IMG_2250
So, Andy got a quick picture before our group was called.

Andy and I got paired with a family of 4. And the kids were LITTLE. Like probably just tall enough to ride. Which was fine except the parents let the kids drive. And really I hate complaining about this, but the kid was so short they couldn't reach ANY of the buttons and dashboard to do ANYTHING!!!! They could put us into light speed. Sigh.

So, our ride was pretty boring. I really didn't care too too much but if that was my first time on the ride!? Yikes!

Andy and I got off before them. And could hear Gwen talking behind us. So, we hid around a corner and tried to scare them.... It didn’t work...

The L's and the girls had a great time on the ride, so that was good.

It was 3:45 and Galaxy's Edge was closing at 4:00 for the official press event for Rise. So, we literally had 15 minutes left for ANYTHING else. So, we all split up. The L's wanted to check out the market area a bit. And Iwanted to go into Doc Ondars. I wanted to get some of these small stones for Andy's stocking.

But I ran over to Ronto Oasters and grabbed a drink first! Priorities, right?
IMG_2267
Surly Sarlacc
Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka, Minute Maid© Limeade, Raspberry, Spicy Mango Flavors
I love this thing!

Thankfully there really wasn't anyone in the whole area at this point, so I walked up ordered my drink and ran over to get inside of Dok Ondoras before 4.

Andy took Gwen in to the market area to get a Baby Yoda doll. Well, it was yoda but because it was made to look home made and was small it looked like baby yoda.

I was able to get the stones and paid pretty quickly. And then I just wandered around in the store as everyone confinved in the store.

IMG_2271
And then we all headed out. We said good bye to Galaxy's Edge.

Galaxy's Edge was a more successful visit than Pandora for the L's..

Up next more fun in Hollywood Studios!

Hi Everyone!
I am avoiding work, so I am going to get another installment in for today!

Day Six: Hitting some rides!

We left Galaxy's Edge and headed towards Tower of Terror and Rock n' Rollercoaster. For some reason, I think we actually had fast passes for Rock n' Rollercoaster and not Tower of Terror for some reason... But the plan was to do stand by of Tower of Terror and then use our fast pass for RnR.

IMG_6458
Look how pretty it looks with the holiday stars.

Mr. L took Little M to see the Indian Jones show while we rode the big kid rides. Morgan didn't want to go on ToT but def wanted to ride RnR. SO, I told her to stay with us. I told her she could wait in line with us and then use the chicken exit. Or we could leave her on the bench by the exit to wait for us. But I don't think she wanted to wait by herself. So, we stuck with us for the time being.

IMG_2277
These folks were outside when we got there! And you can see that the wait was only 35 minutes at this point. The park was really starting to thin out. I think because of the event in Galaxy's Edge, folks were leaving to go to other parks or dinner elsewhere.

IMG_2276
Big L grabbed a photo with them while Gwen was in the bathroom.

We got in line at 4:23 per my pictures. Morgan was not happy being in line, so she listened to music on her headphones in line for a bit to distract her.

IMG_2281
I just love the little lobby. I actually wish there was more que inside in the lobby area. And we got walked over to the far room. I realized that we have always gone into the first room for some reason.

IMG_2283
So, I got to see this directory for the first time.

We were getting on the ride at 4:56PM
IMG_2293
This side of the ride was excitied and ready...

But this side not so much... Morgan did decided to ride! She hated it but she rode.
IMG_2295
Can you see the excitement on Morgan's face?

It was a great ride! And Miss L loved it. I think she said it's her favorite ride in Disney.

After we headed over to RnR. Miss L asked if it was ok to skip it and meet up with Mr. L. We said no problem, and Andy and I took the girls and Big L to ride! I have no idea what they did while we rode.

IMG_2300
It was somehow decided that Morgan and Big L would ride together and Gwen would go with Andy. And I got to go with a stranger.

IMG_6459
Pretty sure Gwen wanted to go with Andy just to make this face in the ride photo...

IMG_2301
The kids loved it! Don't let Big L's face trick you!

I know the kids talked about which rollercoaster was there favorite now that they had rode all of them. I can't remember what any of them said. But they were super happy after riding.

We headed to meet up with the rest of the L's.

We had time for one more thing before our dinner reservations. And we decided to meet in front of the meet n great for Sorcer Mickey. Big L had the hat and we had never actually done it!

IMG_2305
We got in line and the kids were getting PUNCHY! It was 5:30 and we had been going all day. But dinner wasn't till 6:15. So, we had time to kill.

IMG_2307
We had to get the kids back in line but they got it together and we waited our turn. I think we waited 20 minutes to meet Minnie first.

IMG_6464
Gwen loved meeting Minnie in her fancy dress. And requested a picture all by herself!

IMG_6464
We did one of just our family.

IMG_6462
And then all of the kids.

And then we went and meet Sorcer Mickey!

IMG_6464

IMG_6464

IMG_6464

IMG_2312
Mickey obviously loved Big L having the hat! And they got some great shots together!

It was a nice meet and then we just walked across the walkway to check in for dinner!

Up next dinner and some more evening fun!

What a great meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie! Amazing family pics with Sorcerer Mickey!

We missed it when we were there last year and we didn’t think it was worth waiting since we had met them a few times already, but their costumes are amazing! I hope those M&G come back ... I will make this one a priority!

Love the latest update at DHS. Frozone was super awesome with the kids! Love this! I adore the retro decor there too! Super reminds me of my growing up years. Isn't hopping right onto the Skyliner the bomb? I LOVE staying at AoA now just for that!

As we walked up Miss L practically pushed Little L out of the way to meet Eda first. Which was hilarious!

:rotfl2:Girl gotta have priorities.

After our meet with Eda, we decided it was time to move on. But not without one last photo op.
IMG_2165
I love this photo. It came out so cute!

This is GREAT! This whole area was closed off when we went in October and in December I missed it.

And I have to say I really enjoyed it! I remember not liking it the first time. But did this time. I particularly liked it when Sweetums came out at the end. I always liked him as a kid for some reason.

We haven't done this in years. Maybe in May we will.

The plant based meatballs have alot of flavor and you would never know there weren't meat

Danielle loves the meatballs and have had them several times.

They put us at one side of the bar.

That looks fun!

But the kids loved it. It was like they were in a real bar. And we joked about it how it was there first trip to a bar.

What an experience for kids. I can see why they liked it.

This is so nice!

The L's and the girls had a great time on the ride, so that was good.

That's a win. I still haven't done it.

Galaxy's Edge was a more successful visit than Pandora for the L's.

YES!

These folks were outside when we got there!

Love this! I want to see them now.

We were getting on the ride at 4:56PM

Great timing!

It was a great ride! And Miss L loved it. I think she said it's her favorite ride in Disney.

This is my favorite thrill ride.

Excellent picture!

It was a nice meet and then we just walked across the walkway to check in for dinner!

Great meet and greet. I hope it comes back.

Happy Sunday Everyone! It is rainy here today, and I am taking advantage to be lazy today.

It is crazy that I am almost done with this trip report! I do have a doozy of a travel day, stay tunned!

Day Six: Capping off a great day! And Great Trip!

I left us off finishing up our meet with Mickey and Minnie. We walked across the way to Sci-Fi Drive Inn for dinner. We checked in a little early and ended waiting a bit. But we were seated right at our reservation time, so I can' t fault them too much.

We were sat in 2 cars, Andy and I ended up by ourselves in the front on one car and everyone else was in another car.
IMG_2314
Gwen and LIttle L sat together, and Morgan was a good sport and sat with Little M.

The kids LOVED this place! Not surprisingly, they loved sitting in the car and watching shows.
IMG_2314

IMG_2314

It was a little hairy ordering since we were all mixed up and split up. But the waitress figured it out.

Andy and I split some food.
We ordered the Drive-Inn Burger. (Andy's choice)
Drive-in BBQ Burger
Our Signature Blend of Beef, BBQ Spice, Brioche Bun, House-made BBQ Sauce, Bacon, and Cheddar topped with an Onion Ring and Crispy-fried Banana Pepper
IMG_2314
It was good. It was a burger... not bad but not amazing.

And I picked the Sampler app platter, which isn't on the menu right now.
IMG_2314
But it was some sort of dip, I want to say a queso dip, buffalo tenders and I "think" we got onion rings instead of fried pickles? I have no idea at this point. This was also ok. Not terrible but not amazing...

And I think we both went with the Orange Blossom Beer.
IMG_2314
This is an excellent beer, if you like lighter and more on the fruity side beers. This isn't super sweet but very tasty!

While it was just Andy and I, we talked about our plan for tomorrow. Tomorrow was the opening of Ride of Resistance. And I had been texting with @lesleywake on and off all day about the best plan of attack for getting on the ride.

The issue was we also had a flight to catch tomorrow, so Andy wasn't completly on board with getting up at the crack of dawn to try. But I insisted that we should try! I mean when would we have the oportunity to say we rode a ride on opening day!

Thankfully Lesley is SUPER helpful and always has great information and provided me with enough ammo to convince Andy that we should try!

Morgan ordered a plain Cheeseburger and a Chocolate Milk Shake
IMG_2314
I was worried about her ordering by herself, as she is TERRIBLE at talking to well, anyone. But she figured it out and she was happy with her shake.

Gwen and Little L both order Mac n Cheese. And when our food came out and they saw our French Fries. Little L flagged down the waitress and asked if they could get some as well. Which I thought was hilarious!

Like I said before the kids really liked this place. But I don't think Big L and Miss L liked it as much. I do wish we had done some sort of meal where we could have talked more on the the last meal but the kids still talk about eating there. So, still a win!

After our meal, we were planning on heading out. But the kids wanted to ride on Toy Story Mania one more time, and the app listed it as a ZERO wait!

So, we paid our bills, hit the rest rooms and then headed out.

It was about 7:50 by now and the park closed at 9 that night. So, we had an hour to ride a few more rides. How many could we do?

IMG_2326
We were on the ride in no time. There really was no wait.

IMG_2326

IMG_2326
We rode once, got off and the kids begged to go again. The adults agreed and we quickly got a 2nd ride in!

IMG_2326

I wanted to check out the christmas projection show over by ToT. So, we convinced the kids to head over to ToT and Rockn' Rollercoaster.

We got over there around 8:30 and got to watch a little of it. And then the kids wanted to squeeze in another ride.
IMG_2342

IMG_2342

Andy and Morgan went and rode RnR.

Miss L, Little L and Gwen went to ride ToT.
IMG_2342
It truely was a walk on. And before we knew it we were on the ride. When it started, it kind of paused for a minute and was almost stuck. And it make the ride just a little scarier! Someone screamed and then it kicked back on and we dropped. Gwen and Little L LOVED this!

Gwen and Little L wanted to ride again, and I was going to say no, but Miss L said no. We we headed out to meet up with Andy and Morgan.

Morgan and Andy ended up riding twice! Which made us have to sit around and wait. But I didn't mind, I was able to soak in some of the area atmosphere and watch all of the show.

When we caught up with Andy and Morgan and I found out they rode twice. I told Morgan to not tell Gwen. Ha!

IMG_2342
I loved this whole area. Is it a show to make a WHOLE trip to see, probably not but it is def something you should see if you are there.

And Mr. L and Little M went to watch some of the Jingle Bell Jingle Bam show. And we were having a hard time finding them, as Miss L and my phone were pretty much on zero at this point. (which is why my picture count went down greatly at this point)

But we finally found them... with friends of ours SISTER! Mr. L randomly ran into them and they were watching the show together.

We chatted for a bit and then we headed out. I wanted to get out of the park before the masses from the show were leaving as well.

We left the park at 9:07! It was a great end of the day! We squeezed in 3 (or 4) rides in an hour and I got to see the christmas show.

We hopped on the Skyliner on a high. The kids really enjoyed getting on a bunch of rides in a row. And then reality sunk in that the joint trip was over. We were leaving tomorrow and the L’s were heading to Universal tomorrow. We talked about the L's plan for the rest of the trip. They were headed to Universal tomorrow to check out Harry Potter Stuff, and then had one more day in Magic Kingdom.

Our ride back to the hotel in no time, and said our goodbyes. It was super sad to say goodbye. It was a great trip and I was glad that most of the plans worked out.

Once we were back in our room by ourselves, we talked to the girls about getting up early to try and get on the ride. The girls were iffy about the plan, but agreed to give it a try!

The girls promptly passed out for the night!

And I attempted to pack up the majority of our stuff and still get to bed at not too late of a time.

Which was good, because we had BIG BIG plans for the next day!

Sci Fi is definitely on our list for a future trip, but I have to do it when they're still small enough to jam three in a row. If we ended with odd man out seating then it wouldn't be fun.

How cool that you got such short lines at the end of the night!

I can't wait to hear about your RotR day.
