Oh, Sid and Marty Kroft? Yeah, definitely! To me it is the stuff of nightmares. I was a kid a bit later than most of these shows, but some were still on/around. I did watch Land of the Lost.

Hey, you're from my other thread:wave:

Sigmund and the Seamonsters? Wasn't that the Krofts too?

I loved Land of the Lost! I wanted to find old episodes to watch again.
They probably look awful bad viewing them years later.

Sadly I believe you're right. There's no way to know if patrons are vaccinated or not, and you really don't want to put your CM's at risk. Besides the fact that kids under 12 can't currently be vaccinated.
Yeah I also agree. I had been holding out hope, though, that they might bring more princesses back to CRT even if it was distanced.

"That means this summer is also your last chance to come out and catch the current fireworks shows before they sparkle into Disney history. “EPCOT Forever” will conclude its limited-time run on September 28, and you have until September 29 to take in the spectacle of “Happily Ever After” at Magic Kingdom Park"

So no more Happily Ever After after the 50th?! Noooooooooooo

I caught this too and was bummed. I can't imagine they would get rid of such a new show that was SO advanced and probably SO technical. Why start over? It was so loved and enjoyed I won't admit it's going forever until they say for sure! My guess is just after the 50th it'll be back. 18 months is a long time!

Read it carefully again. Epcot Forever was always intended to be a temporary show but they don't use the same verbiage for HEA. HEA will return after the 50th.

That's what I originally assumed but the wording makes me think otherwise. Especially with "sparkle into Disney history"

Glad to see them bring things back, sadly nothing that will help from now until the end of the month. Hopefully with reduced crowds in August taking people out of lines will help, but the summer crowd for the next 2 weeks are getting no relief at all.

Maybe there will be a flood of people moving their reservations out a few weeks. :) I definitely would be doing it if it were possible for us.

I know about Epcot Forever, but they are using plural which makes me think both.

Why? HEA is a brand new show in the scheme of things. And literally nothing they've said to this point indicates DE is anything but a temporary show for the 50th. If it were replacing HEA they would have said so when they announced it.

Since the announcement of the 50th fireworks, I've always thought HEA was going to be gone for good. I was surprised they brought it back at all, but I still don't think it will come back after the anniversary. 18 months is long time to bring back what will be an near 6 yr old show at that point. Just my opinion, we won't know for a long time what will happen.

I read that as no more HEA, but they do leave that window cracked, just a bit. Disney-speak is a difficult language to interpret. Dunno...sparkle into fireworks when referring to both sounds awfully permanent. And I would expect they would've described EE as what it was, a temporary show.

Just seems so sudden as wishes ran for 13 years but then again there is nothing normal about the last 2 years in Disney parks talk so maybe we are left wondering! But the return of all these is the return of literally hundreds of Cast Members which is AMAZING and I think will transfer over to dining and other roles too. Perhaps just not big enough "news" to make a blog post about. Imagine "WE FINALLY HAVE ENOUGH CAST MEMBERS TO REOPEN COLUMBIA HARBOUR HOUSE. COME GET YOUR FRIED FISH!" Plus the fact that Food and Wine wasn't shrunk down like last year means there was plenty of CMs to work the booth. But I do truly wish the international students can return this year! Some news is better than the crickets we were getting but I am still waiting on the larger announcements like FP and dining :(

Ready to be disappointed. Not sure how they can top HEA. The lights on main street adding into the show is nice but seems gimmicky and hard to view everything at once. We'll see how it looks shortly I guess...
