Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

This is acceptable news, in light of current circumstances. And if it lets them not shut anything down, that’s the best. I wonder if Universal will follow suit?
I would expect Universal to do something. I have no inside info there though, so no idea what. They have more options of what they can do if they have to go further since they don't have park reservations.

Let's just hope people are reasonable human beings and not jerks, but that may be too much to ask for.
I do dread the mess it will be on Friday. We had the MK scheduled but talking now to see if we want to do the water park to avoid what I know will be crazy.

This is like major major news and yet no threads on this topic have lasted more than 15 minutes before they are deleted.

I guess it makes sense, though, because there really isn’t anything to discuss about this news. Either your happy or angry about this announcement (maybe some are neutral). So I guess with nothing to discuss it simply turns to a debate and gets shutdown.

As someone who has a trip planned starting in 15-days, this is big news. I’m curious as to what effect this policy has on a number of aspects for our trip. So a healthy and civil conversation would be helpful.

well we are just close enough we can’t cancel our two nights and not have the points all a mess. Guess
We will go and do the Remy hunt and smash in with a million people to watch the fireworks since they will be okay but to ride dumbo next to my own kid won’t be considered safe.

this isn’t gonna change much except make CM miserable again. When lines are deep and crowded it’s virtually impossible to enforce , they are still short staffed as it is.

There are pretty clear rules on what can be discussed on this forum and a big problem is that although I do think most people here handle the discussion well, some people either aren’t aware of the rules or just don’t care.

This would be a GREAT time for Disney to announce something GOOD like the return of FP or Annual Passes.

IMHO, it would be a great day for a FP announcement. Even if there is some backlash on the new FP system, it will get absolutely buried in the mask backlash. It will give hope to those that want it, without garnering the attention of being another price-hike.
