glad i'm going in dec cuz my hubby would be upset if he had to miss this ride 2 trips in a row. he's never been on it cuz it rained every time we went to animal kingdom. 2016 was his first time back since 1990 so there was no AK when he was younger. went in 2016 and 2019 (and did AK 2 days) and rained all 3 times we were in AK. so fingers crossed there is no rain the 2 AK days we have reserved for Dec

Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane Sign Installed

It was announced a few weeks ago (well initially a while before that). But I am super excited for it!!

Yeah Disney shared a preview video for it last Monday which is the only information we’ve gotten from them directly on it after it was first announced back in June.

I am really trying not to form an opinion before the store actually opens but when I go to Disney World, I expect Disney themed everything. "Creations Shop" so far does nothing for me towards making me feel the warm & fuzzy Disney experience. Mouse Gears was our family's favorite store. So far feeling very under whelmed with its replacement.

I know I have one opinion even though it hasn't opened yet. What a terrible name!

Definitely one of my favorites and IMO the best all around coaster in WDW. Still thinking about a January birthday trip but the Epcot skyliner being down the week of my birthday plus this closure stinks. Splash is usually down around this time right?

They haven't given a specific date but the most recent article shared said it would be released shortly after the 50th kick off.

Maybe because they have to keep some of the rides open for the poor souls who were paying just as good of money the last several months as those going for the 50th?
