Official March 2022 thread!

You'll have 2 ADR dates based on your check in at each resort. I would just go with what you have. I really doubt you would be able to book anything else for March right now as things appear to be pretty booked up. Split stays are a little annoying with some hard to get reservations but if you are flexible it will all work out. I am going to use a reservation finder to help me get the few ADRs I wasn't able to secure (Space 220 lounge and Ogas). Hope everything goes well for you!
We are considering adding one night at POP so that we can book a Capture Your Magic Session at 60+3 and then cancelling, otherwise we could only book at 60+1, which makes me nervous. Not sure though.

I ended up scrapping Rose & Crown over the weekend and was able to *GASP!* pick up a Space 220 Lounge ADR for that day instead!

Good for you!! I hope I'm lucky enough for a lounge reservation. I would far prefer that to lunch. I'm worried that lunch would be too much food. But I'll take lunch if the lounge isn't available - I want to see the restaurant!

With dining getting so close for us, I'm curious what others are planning on trying to get. My list includes:

* Toppolinos breakfast (soooooooooooo good)
* Coral Reef
* Space 200
* Ohana
* Tusker House
* Beaches and Cream
* 50s Prime Time
* Via Napoli
* Mama Melrose
* Sebastians

Some of these are on our list too!
Space 220, Topolino's breakfast, 50s Prime Time.
Also:
Boma dinner
Ale & Compass breakfast
Crystal Palace or Be Our Guest (probably BOG, since I haven't heard anything about the character breakfast coming back to CP)
Maybe Jungle Skipper
Maybe Hollywood Brown Derby if we can't get 50s Prime Time.

Hi all! I started a pre-trip report:
Disney World For the First Time - March 2022

Please come look and comment! Advice appreciated!

One big question for the Canadians who have been since reopening... Any advice on getting the PCR test done pre-return?
Will pop over to read along! Check out this thread on the Canadian board....

I booked the Rapid ID now with Walgreens in August which went very well. I think I may book with Curative this time.

I really want a lounge ressie too! Fingers crossed!
Ale & Compass breakfast
This is SO good! The iced coffee and chocolate waffles are the best ever!

Love HBD!!!

We'll be there March 18th-27th and both my girls will be having birthdays that week! I'll have an 8 year old and a 6 year old by the time we come home! We'll be splitting our stay -- first two days at Boulder Ridge and then the rest at Kidani and I cannot WAIT! I'm really nervous about getting dining reservations on the girls' birthdays since we want Be Our Guest for one and Cinderella's Royal Table for the other.

Super sad the GF Gardenview Tea room is closed since I was looking forward to taking them there as well.

Welcome! You are staying at 2 of my favourite resorts! Boulder Ridge is my home resort so is extra special to me. Be sure to check out Geyser Point when you are there! I will add you to the roll call. :)

Hey - for anyone staying at a Deluxe during the last week of March... I was just researching the extra evening hours, and over at the Deluxe Extra Nighttime Hours thread, bambialways4ever pointed out that the extended evening hours for MK are on Tuesday March 29, not on Wednesday, at least on the list posted on Disney's extended evening page.

It's clearly past my bedtime! The park hours calendar is not yet updated for March 29. [I thought it contradicted the extended evening page, but I was confused.]

Add us on being there from March 2nd to the 14th. Our longest trip ever. Resort hopping between FIVE resorts. Not intentionally, but we'll have fun. :)
Copper Creek
Rivera
AKV
BLT
PO-FQ for the last night if our wait list for a 3rd night at BLT doesn't come in.

If you want to pick one for the roll call, pick AKV. We're there in a 2 bedroom the longest of any of them. It was our original trip before I kept adding on days. ;)

Welcome! Such a nice long trip and a super fun way to check out some different resorts!

We love Kidani but it's not our home resort (that's VGF) so I often end up having to do crazy resort hopping stays like that! For this one we're actually doing ONE night club level at Jambo because I could only get x number of days at kidani and had to fill in some blanks and when I saw that open up I was like uh YES PLEASE! ;)

We ate dinner there during our last trip in November and it was AWESOME!! We didnt want to do dinner again and since the lounge folks basically sit in the dining room (just towards the back) you can still see all the "space stuff'!!

The only one new to us is Rivera and the Copper Creek section of WL, but we're looking forward to just taking it easy and not letting anxiety take over. <3

So with the change of evening hours days the last week of March, here is my new plan for parks to visit:

Monday: Hollywood Studios, parkhop to Epcot for Harmonious and evening hours
Tuesday Magic Kingdom, afternoon break, evening hours
Wednesday: Epcot, enjoy late breakfast, slow day, maybe visit another park
Thursday: Rope drop Animal Kingdom, lunch at Sanaa, then back to MK for fireworks to end the trip

Thoughts? I would love to hear anyone else's feedback (also, hours won't be posted until next week for all days, so could change)

What is the best (i.e., fastest and/or least glitchy) way to book ADRs?
App using + sign then filtering?
App searching for specific restaurant then checking availability?
Website?

Probably staying the obvious, but I’m trying to figure out the most efficient way that I can search through dates/times quickly to maximize my chances to get the ones I’m looking for. (It’s been 5 years since I’ve done this, and technology has changed.)
