Would love to get opinions about the WOC dessert party if you've done it recently. Thank you!

We did it in June and it was wonderful. The seats were great and the food was really good. We had the dessert plate you're probably seen pictures of, plus unlimited drinks. None of us drink alcohol so we had tea, lemonade, soda, cherry breeze, coffee and cocoa. Our server was very attentive, she came back multiple times to refill drinks and check on us. The tables are pretty close together, that was the only real compalint. Like your chair is touching the chair of the people at the table next to you. We sat at a low table, but that might be different at the high tabls. It's the best way to watch WOC for me. Definitely worth the money for us and I want to do it again next time we're at DCA.94F043BB-E7D2-4C1A-8B98-AEB258341838.jpegF688DE08-8F32-40A9-83A2-D6AAD83BA437.jpegC6A30D4A-9C0A-4B48-975D-EB2ED5D06FCA.jpegE472588B-D75E-45B8-AB26-4AE9586981A3.jpeg6DF5F19A-6BFD-45A9-BF58-3EC09394CD6F.jpeg

We just went this past Saturday for the first showing and definitely enjoyed it. We’re local but did a potential farewell tour staycation in case annual passes are gone/we decide not to renew. Of the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge experience, Riverbelle Premium Fantasmic, and WOC Dessert party we did last week, this one was likely the most “worth” it.

We got in line around 6:45pm to check in, and we were third in line to choose. We chose high top table #18 and really enjoyed that view. We grabbed an ILL for webslingers to kill time before seating, and by the time we headed back the line was quite long. It didn’t take too long to actually be seated, and we enjoyed watching the cutest, most well-trained service dog interact with her owner. Anyhow, the food was decent although my hubby and youngest said the grapes were their favorite. 😒🤦🏼‍♀️😆 We enjoyed the cherry drink and hot chocolates! My husband was not impressed with the beer offering - Bud Light. 😆 Overall, I would do it again if we continue our DLR visits.

I read a review where someone said her party got drenched at the low tables. Is this typical? We are doing this party in a couple weeks with 3 young kids and don’t want to get soaked.

That was us. But other people said that's never happened to them, so maybe it was just windy that night?

Do you get to choose the actual table you want, or just low or high? If so, what are good numbers in both categories?
When you check in they ask you what kind of table you want. I asked for a low table as far to the right as possible. We ened up in the middle of the front row and had a great view. I'm not sure if you can ask for a specific table.

We were in the front row to the left and could feel some droplets but nothing crazy. It was pretty windy that night as we noticed they started the fireworks but then stopped after a few big ones.

Choosing is first come first serve, but you can either request a table number if it’s available or request a specific area/high or low.

What, Bud Light? Gross! When we did the Dessert Party in April the beer was Red Trolly (I was so happy!).

Exactly! Our server said they change it up frequently, and Bud Light was the beer du jour. 🫢🤢

We went recently and highly recommend it. Saw the second show. We checked in around 8:00 PM and were about 10 people back. We then left to go back to the room to get some water and when we returned we were about 40-50 people back. This was kind of annoying because our priority was to spend as much time enjoying the area before the show. I wish they did it like an airport where after you check in you line up based on your boarding group. We were part of the second line taken over and still had plenty of time. We chose the high top and were pretty close to the middle. Great view. I don't think I would have liked to sit at the low tops. They seemed low and right by some fencing. The seats at the high top are great and comfortable. Not the type of director chairs you might be used to. The desserts were good (some were really sweet). The drinks were good. We all also got water which didn't count as one of the two drinks. My son got a light up cup which was a nice surprise. They didn't give us any hot cocoa at the end, so not sure what was up with that. It was great to have a place to sit and enjoy the show. I highly recommend trying it at least once.

We did the dessert party on Friday. You check in by the Eureka sign. The line had already started forming around 630. Hubby got in the line around 7 while we did some rides. The started the check in around 730. They assigned you a table and gave you a wrist band and told you you could come and go from that line, but to be back by 8. We were able to ask for a low table. At 8 a CM escorted the group to the viewing area where a server waited to greet you and take you to the table you were assigned. Once there we got our plates and could order our drinks. The server was very attentive and we had two round of drinks. My kids got these cool glow cups. The view was great. We asked for a " low and center" table.

We felt this system was much improved from in the pst where check in was by the viewing area where all the crowds were. It was incredibly smooth and hassle free.

Does anyone know if you can take a stroller to your table. We would be 2 adults, a 4 Yr old and a baby. The baby will likely long be asleep by show time!

I have seen this yes , just be aware space is at a premium as the tables are somewhat close so a smaller stroller if available may be better. They will usually try to seat you on the lower area as well. I would recommend a blanket or light cover as the dessert party area can get misty or slightly wet especially if a breeze kicks up.

This is all based on my past observations of doing the dessert party 10 or so times and I don't have kids sorry lol.

My apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere. Does any one know how / where they handle ECVs at the Dessert Party? I will be renting an ECV for mobility issues, but I am not at all dependent on it. So, I am wondering if they would want me to take the ECV to the Dessert Party viewing area and use it as my seat, or if I could park it somewhere nearby and use one of their actual seats... Obviously I will ask the CM when I get there, but was just curious if anyone knew. 🙂
