Rogers the Musical coming to DCA this summer!! **Edit: Opens 6/30**

Campy is one thing, but “this is bad on purpose” is a tougher sell to people who will literally be sitting in the theater.

I think it’s funny that they’re doing it, but the more I think about it the more I wonder how it’s actually going to work. I mean, it’s not good. On purpose. But how’s that gonna work with an actual audience?

The hotter it is outside, the more the public will like it inside.

I would totally watch this. I don't have a trip planned until September, though, so I really hope they do it past "summer!"

Rogers: The Musical
Follow these important guidelines to join the virtual queue and experience this all-new, one-act live theater production that tells the amazing story of Steve Rogers (Captain America) at the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land:

Every day that Rogers: The Musical is performing, distribution for the virtual queue will begin at 10:30 AM Pacific Time for the first 2 showtimes of the day and at 2:00 PM Pacific Time for the remaining afternoon showtimes.
If a Guest gets into a virtual queue, they will not be able to choose which showtime they would like to have. Instead, they will be automatically given one.
There is limited capacity for each show. After attempting to join the virtual queue, Guests will be directed to a screen which shows whether or not they are added to the queue.
Once a Guest joins the virtual queue, they will be called back to the Hyperion Theater when the physical queue is ready to open, approximately 30 to 45 minutes before showtime.
To access the virtual queue, Guests must have entered Disney California Adventure Park with a one-park ticket or Park Hopper ticket, or Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket.

Joining the virtual queue is not required to view this theatrical production—but it is highly recommended. Additional viewing for each performance may be available via a standby queue on a first-come, first-served basis, if capacity allows.

Cannot wait!!! So glad my trip is August 22-26!! Just going to make it!!

(The most impressive thing about the bit in Hawkeye is they managed to get Adam Pascal to sing with his eyes open!! 😄 That was a big issue when he got cast in RENT.)

We are going in late August... gotta brush up on that virtual queue thing! We totally forgot about it for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and then when we returned, the VQ had stopped!

EDIT: I wonder how much this is: “Rogers: The Musical” Premium Viewing Experience

Looks like show times are 12:30PM, 2:00PM, 4:00PM, and 5:30PM. Our first day in the park is 7/7, so I'll be checking here for reviews from the first couple of days of the show, but I could see springing for the premium viewing. We're big Marvel fans, and we're already spending so much on everything else in the park, I'll gladly pay another $30/person if it reduces our stress level for the day.
