They initially said no as well to me. I told them I had been sitting for hours and needed to go to work and could not keep refreshing or call back. In my opinion, It is unreasonable to just say "Sorry- try again later."
This would never happen in most businesses.....they would work to resolve the issue with a return phone call if necessary. My points were missing with no confirmed reservation so I really wanted it noted that there was a reservation made if it disappeared. It all ended well but wow- I really wish they wold step up their IT game. I have no flexibility when I travel so booking in advance is super important.
