They initially said no as well to me. I told them I had been sitting for hours and needed to go to work and could not keep refreshing or call back. In my opinion, It is unreasonable to just say "Sorry- try again later."
This would never happen in most businesses.....they would work to resolve the issue with a return phone call if necessary. My points were missing with no confirmed reservation so I really wanted it noted that there was a reservation made if it disappeared. It all ended well but wow- I really wish they wold step up their IT game. I have no flexibility when I travel so booking in advance is super important.

It looks like I DID get my reservations. My points are correct and my reservations are on my screen (when I can log in).

I didn't get all the days I wanted to - I had to split between room types. And I'm still looking for 2 more days. I hope I can get back on at some point.

I might have to buy the last 2 days when 2024 goes on sale. (Not sure when?) Then cancel if I can find them on the DVC site someday.

They should ALWAYS do a queue like this on obviously popular drop days like this / marathon / new resort sales / Oogie Boogie, etc. Come on Disney - you knew the traffic was coming - only allow in what you can handle rather than everyone just having no idea if they will ever have success. I don't mind waiting if I know my time is coming. That said "over an hour" (IYKYK) or no estimate is not great.

Yay I got in, tons of studio availability in Feb and some still in January, for us 7 monthers! I booked two nights in Feb, a Thursday-Friday to line up with my Enchant Magic Key.

Juuuust going to throw this out there... haha. If you're ok with accessible rooms (and um... accessible peeps have had their chance to get rooms)... there's tons of availability. Even 1-3 bedrooms. And for studios even Opening Weekend.

I am still thinking about switching or changing it to 3/4 or4/3. Right now i have 2 nights at VDH and 5 at VGC. The tax isn’t as bad as the points difference

Yep. I dropped some VGC days to book the 3BR. The point chart for the 3BR at VGC was insane for that weekend. I'll pay the tax

We are very excited. Got back 108 points for the VGC 2BR so it wasn't a bad trade at all. Also going to be our first "west coast" DVC resort hop.... (crazy to think we can do that now).
