Speaking of coffee, not only do I need a second cup but yesterday DH texted me to bring home a cup of coffee for him because our Keurig Platinum B70 finally died. I texted back, use the new Keurig I bought you for Christmas last year. Men!

We've had the B70 for years, I'm thinking 14 or 15. Solid machine. I bought DH Keurig K Cafe at Target for $115. We'll see how long this machine lasts as the reviews weren't that stellar but, it's what he wanted.

With not having to pay tax, my Redcard 5% discount, and some Target GCs from Swagbucks/Work Health Program, I think I did pretty okay with not paying full price. I'm so excited for it to come!! I really hope I like it because I'm looking forward to just taking it onboard and putting it into the overhead bin when we go west to DL/San Diego next spring. I'm such a mom haha.

Those photos are missing many GCs they do carry. They don’t show BB and Apple which I did find at the other Kohls I visited today.

When you open the cash app, click on the cash card (2nd one from the left on the bottom) and then right under your card it will either say explore boosts or swap. Click on that and then scroll through your boosts and see if you have the one for Sams Club. In my cash app, it is one of the last ones. Make sure to read the details - mine says maximum discount of $20, valid once every 24 hours, online only. Once you have set the boost you can just go to the target website and place the order using your cash app card. It should immediately charge you 5% less than your total.

If you want to make sure that it is giving you the discount, make sure your cash app balance is a little less than the price before the 5% off. So for example, if you were going to buy 3 of the $75 Disney gift cards at Sam's which are 71.98 x 3 = $215.94, you should only be paying $205.14 with the cash app. So make sure your cash app balance is less than $215.94 (but at least $205.14). That way, if it is not doing the boost correctly, it will just decline the charge.

I have been remiss about planning ahead for my September trip and I am in the need of about $2k in gift cards. I know, I know. I'm always like this.

I downloaded the app, set up my Cash App card, added it to Apple Pay, and activated the Target Boost (10% off, up to $7.50). I made the Cash App card my default because I wasn't sure if Target would let me choose the right card. It did, so I'm going to remove it as default. That took about 5 minutes. I added $68 to my Cash App, went to Target and put $75 worth of gift cards in my cart. I paid using Apple Pay and selected the Cash App card. It claimed that $75 was charged but when I went to my Cash App, I had a 50 cent balance so I was charged $67.50. I am very happy with a 10% discount this late in planning.

Has anyone tried to enter their Cash App card into their Target account as a payment method? I had my DH open a Cash App and Target account and it might be easier for me to do everything via my laptop and log into our respective Target accounts.

I believe what you'll find at any given Kohl's will vary. Last year ours didn't have Amazon along with a few others. When we drove to another location they had quite the variety and in various locations including the men's department near unique/specialty gifts/stocking stuffers like this...

I have had good luck getting things like this on CCs and Cash Back portals to trigger when I manually renew. The key is....don't auto renew haha.

Y'all are really tempting me to sign up for a Cash app Card.. idk why but signing up for new cards always stresses me out!

They got me and I'm not mad. Apparently I got luck of the newbie and got a 10% off Target that renews every 24 hours and I've still got 19 days left. That's going to stack nicely with my Target Circle bonus offer.

If all goes to plan, that will be $300 with $30 off from the cash app and then $25 back from my Target Circle bonus for 18.3% total return. Not mad about that at all!! Will need to determine how much investment I want to make after earning the bonus
