1/2 day strategy at AK

We will be at WDW for a couple days, pre cruise, at the end of May. We are spending 2 days in the parks. Our first day will be 1/2 day at AK. Hopefully leaving by 2 pm but could stay later if needed. We have Epcot AH tickets that evening and want to swim at WL for a couple hours in between parks.

Since we are only spending a couple days in the parks we don't mind buying ILLs and purchasing Genie+. With that said, is it worth purchasing the ILL at Pandora AND getting Genie+? Or is both an overkill and not necessary? We want to do EE, Navi, FOP, Dinosaur, Fest of LK and safari. We'll be there either at opening or close to it. It's hard to 100% predict with 2 teens. Thanks!

it is doable… FOP could be either rope drop (like truly first guests arriving LOL) or iLL; then Navi right after; Safari then EE; Dinosaur and by then the first or second Festival of Lion King
Dom’t think Genie is necessary there..

Enjoy also the live entertainment, Viva Gaia and the drummers in Africa are awesome!

We purchased ILL for FOP, did Navi during the early entry, then went to Safari which starts running at park opening time. Then went to Everest and Dinosaur (both of which had virtually no wait), so we didn't need G+ at all.

We were offsite, so no EE. Bought FOP at park opening, did Navii, FOP, Safari (a truck broke down ahead of us on the Savannah so it took a LONG time), Everest single rider, walked both trails, Fest of the Lion King, the bird show. Didn't do Dinosaur but the wait was minimal all day. No G+ needed. We wouldn't have needed to do SR for Everest if the Safari hadn't taken so long.
