We are trying to cram in Legoland to our annual DL trip this spring. No firm dates yet, but we are thinking late May, which may or may not land us in Legoland around Memorial Day Weekend. We will be renting a car and driving out from Anaheim for the day. So, a couple of questions:
1) I imagine it would be insanely busy around Memorial day? Should we try to go on the Friday as opposed to Saturday - would that mean lower crowds, or not really? (Monday is the actual holiday...)
2) How long should we budget to see what we need to see? I'm not one of those commando tour people - with 3 little kids, we sort of just do what works. What should we absolutely NOT miss? And what will work for most of our age groups? Our kids will be 6, 4 and 2 at the time of the trip.
3) Height restrictions on rides - lots of them state "if under 42", must be accompanied by a friend 42" or taller". Does that mean that we could escort all 3 kids on the ride, or one >42" person per child? And if that ride has a 36" height requirement, our 2 yr old wouldn't be allowed to ride at all, even with a parent, right?
Anything else I might need to know about Legoland? Any info is appreciated. My two sons are absolute lego maniacs, so just being there will be amazing for them. One of their favorite things about Disneyland is the Lego store in Downtown Disney!
