Very sad... :sad2:

Spanish 14-year-old girl dies on a ride at Disneyland Paris, cause unclear

PARIS - French police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old Spanish girl who lost consciousness while riding a roller coaster at Disneyland Paris, park officials said Tuesday.

The cause of the girl's death remained unclear. A preliminary inspection of the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster ride found no malfunctions with the machinery, Disneyland spokesman Pieter Boterman said.

The girl boarded the ride Monday at the theme park in Marne-la-Vallee east of the French capital, and when the ride stopped, her friends found her unconscious, Boterman said.

Medical teams at the theme park tried to revive her, but by the time the ambulance arrived, the girl had died, he said.

Yes, i'm sure it was some unidentified health condition she had. I'm sure it wasn't the ride itself. How terrible!

That's what it is most the time.. an unidentified health condition..

It's horrible that they have to find out the in the worst way imaginable.

that is so sad :sad2: :sad1: like magic said the ride was checked so maybe the girl had a illness of some sort.

This is so sad. I can't imagine sending your daughter off to an amusement park and not having her come home... the poor family.

Wow truely sad. it has happened before but still very uncommon. so sorry to hear this. many prayers for her family

this is something I cannot even imagine, someone dying in disneyland.
Its sad that this death mirrors the death of a boy in mgm.
I dont even feel like riding that ride when I go now

It wasn't the ride.
It says there were no malfunctions.

Maybe she had high blood pressure. Aren't there signs on rides saying if your preganant, heart problems ect.?

Yea i think that could of been a thing maybe she had a blood pressure problem, but that is such a sad story and my prayers go out to the family and friends.

My prayers and pixie dust go out to her and her family. Like many of you said I'm sure that it was a health condition that the little girl was unaware of. :sad2: Hopefully this matter will get resolved soon and it was not the rides fault.

That's sad. I hope her family feels alright, my Parent's were going to plan a vacation to Disneyland Paris next month. I guess we are not going there!

because a girl died?
believe me disneyland paris is one of my favorite places in the world, and its not fair to condemn it because of an undiagnosed heart condition or whatever it was.

That's my favorite ride :o
Also, did you hear about the 13 year old girl in a six flags who had her feet cut off by that ride that shoots you up in the air?

Very sad :(

I rode that right before but I was to scared to ride it again (The hieght and the suspened drop of it all) I am scared to ever get season passes to that park again and it just lifts you up and drops you down but a cord or something broke and swung out or something of the sort very sad.

You know, six flags found her cut off feet somewhere in the park and are willing to pay for an operation to get them back on her...
