Hi all! Could someone please help me with these light up flip flop things from Walmart? I went over today, and all I could find that "lit up" were some clear sandal type things with 2 inch heels. The heels lit up when you tapped them on the floor. Are these the ones?

I saw the ones you're talking about too. You should have seen 6 yr. old Cammi wobbling around on those... I told her NO WAY, we'd have a spained ankle for sure.
On the ones we bought the part on top of your foot is what lights up. They're tough to spot - not much of an indication that they light up unless you give them a smack or throw them on the floor.
So head to Walmart and start throwing flippy-floppy thingies on the floor to see if they light up or not.

For all you lucky ducks that are going to WDW before our cruise, I read on another thread that Regis & Kelly are going to be at WDW May 9 - 13 to start off the celebrations for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebrations. I don't think it said where in the parks they would be. I would have posted the link but I'm not sure how to do it - It was in the thread "Theme Park Attractions & Strategies".

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.

Actually I started that thread. I was not to thrilled with that news. Just seems like more crowds. I have a friend in the dept that works the remote broadcast for Disney/ABC and got the info from her - her coworkers were booking rooms at AKL...I dont know much more than that, but I will keep you posted if I hear any more details.

Ugh! That is NOT good news for us...we're trying to squeeze MK, MGM, and Epcot into Friday with my parents. I wonder if there will be a way to figure out where they will be and when...so we can avoid them.

I'm sorry I didn't realize you started the thread and when I said "you lucky ducks" I meant that you're lucky to be going to WDW bwfore the cruise not that you'd be able to see Regis & Kelly. We were at WDW when they filmed the Christmas parade last year. Big disappointment for me....I always thought it was live....silly me....We had no idea they were filming the day we went to the MK and they ushered us in on the right side of Main Street and I wanted to get to the Emporium store and I was told that I would have to travel all the way up Main Street then go through Tomorrowland and circle around the Castle to Liberty Square and then get back to Main Street so I could get on the sidewalk to down the left side of Main Street just so I could get to the Emporium shop. So much easier to just walk across the street....but they wouldn't let you. We ended up leaving the MK park because it was too much of a hassel and you couldn't even stop to watch the parade. It seems that they "hired" people to be the crowd and if you weren't one of them, you weren't allowed to stop and watch the parade.
