I'm loving all the pics, but holy cow, it sure takes forever for the pages to load!!
I think it will bed in quickly in fact it will be far better on new tracks than the old ropy ones in south London.I want to do the Eurostar when it starts from its new station St Pancras in a few weeks time.
Think we might wait a while to allow it to bed in. It was dead easy for us when it left Waterloo, but St Pancras is a bit more of a pain as it doesn't involve a train direct from Reading!
Happy Birthday Lauren!

Happy birthday
(Sorry if this is a double post, but I think the first time I tried it I lost it!)
Sorry the photos are so big! They looked fine on the 'puter and Photobucket, I thought they would have been scaled to fit the DIS page. Guess I have some more learning to do.
Seriously....
This is the sort of thing I had looked at before, the Uwa-Marine U-APX 100 ($285 at B&H Photo) - in part because I have lost a body to water damage once. And when I get around to picking up the next camera body (the 40D) then I'll probably want one of these eventually... but not until after I pick up these zoom lenses....
I think it was $375.

If you got it at shutters, I'm sure it can be had cheaper elsewhere...
Did some impulse shopping today. Ok, not too much of an impulse, but I decided this morning and purchased this afternoon. I have been wanting a dslr for some time now and all the talk of the Nikon got me going. Also, I loved the Olympus underwater to 35 feet! So.....
I got both!!
I got a Nikon D40x and the Olympus Stylus 770 today. The prices at Circuit City (which were matched at Best Buy - they had them both in stock) were $699.99 for the D40x with the 15-55 mm lens and $329.99 for the Olympus.

I edit mine down while they're still in my Photobucket account.
Lorri, I think ours will dwindle the same way!I think my bar bill will eat up those OBC's.
everybody - just ducking in to say hi and wondering if I can ask for some help from all you lovable and creative people out there. Turns out I will be hosting a Baby Shower on the 27th. Its kinda late minute. Anyway, we decided to turn it into a baby shower/costume party/poker night.
Totally missed the scavenger hunt yesterday. I was watching my children being tortured for almost 2 hours instead
I bought myself a Christmas present. I pre-ordered this DVD about Disneyland. I have the one that came out a few years ago, and thought this would be good to add to the collection.
I guess that's why we have digital cameras and lots of memory (sort of a make up ....)
I can't complain, my DW got me the Canon 30D for Christmas...

They've done some "re-adjusting" on the boards. Notice on mine, Harley's feet are gone.
Hey I have another question for the experts out there. If I want to add a small custome picture to my sign line - will that knock out my custom tags that the TF has given me?
I'd hate to try and add something and knock them off. BTW, has she made any appearances on here lately?
Great pictures Andy! Your pictures make me want to do the snorkel trip at Castaway Cay next year! And look at that camera. I have two Pentax underwater cameras that I got the first one on the ship. No housing required and they take incredible pictures too, but not as deep as the Olympus.
Ok, that's funny. In my 'swan song' editorial as editor of the student newspaper in college, I wrote about all things I had learned in college, including that the integral of 1/x dx = ln(x)+C. I then wrote that I had learned no one was ever going to come up to me and ask me the integral of 1/x dx.
25 years later, no one has.
I have no idea why I took five terms of calculus (well, really eight, since I took three courses twice).

Stace and I have that Pentax too! I really like it, I don't remember how far down you can go, but I know not 33 feet.
