December 20th Part 2: If you didn't go to Chef Mickey's, did you even go to Disney?
Hi everyone!! So where we left off was Eli and I were heading to our ADR. We jumped on the monorail and went over to the Contemporary to eat brunch at one of my favorites, Chef Mickey's! Because it's not a Disney trip without going! Growing up, this was always the staple to our trip. We would go for either breakfast or dinner.
So after a quick monorail ride, we checked in to our reservation. We were about fifteen minutes early so we had to wait.
After waiting, we wree escorted over to our table. It didn't take long before our server came over to bring us coffee and juice and then told us to help ourselves to the buffet.
I honestly cannot remember what I ate...I know it was just a mixture of eggs, fruit, typical breakfast stuff.
Soon after we sat down, we were greeted by Donald!
The gang was pretty steady with their meetings. They came around about every five minutes or so.
True love
And of course no breakfast buffet isn't complete without getting a plate full of sweets!
Eli is still very awkward with characters, and doesn't get as excited as I do when meeting them. Maybe he's just starstruck?
Breakfast took about an hour because we kept eating! (Even though I can't tell you exactly what I ate!)
I was also trying to get my pins organized...I am a Disney dork. These are just a few that I have, last I counted I have around 50 pins.
My favorite is Lilo and Stitch riding Space Mountain. I traded that one on my cruise.
After breakfast, we decided to wander around the Contemporary, because it's one of Eli's favorite resorts.
But first, HOW CUTE is this Chef Mickey's wreath! I need it for Christmas. It's so cute!
Look at those cuties!
I got some more pictures of the Frozen gingerbread display this day than I did our first day. There was no one viewing the display so we got to hunt for hidden Olaf's too! After that, we wandered through the gift shops.
I fell in love with these ear ornaments.
After window shopping, we hopped back on the monorail to head back into the Magic Kingdom.
Okay I know this was a short update, but I promise the rest of the day will make up for it!
