We are booked for a 10 nighter on the Adventure in March - we booked it mostly because of of the refurbs that were being done. We got the dreaded phone-call that the dry-dock didn't go as planned....considering all the uncontrollable issues it's completely understandable - however - we are wondering to what extent the finishing will be done...will the cabins have soft-good upgrades still at least? We were booked in a panoramic view cabin, which will now not be built, and RCCL has moved us to a VERY acceptable alternative cabin...but when we reached out to RCCL to enquire about the extent of the cabin upgrades we got very evasive answers.
The reviews we've seen that concern us is that the ship is 'tired', a/c doesn't work (concerning sailing out of San Juan), plumbing issues, and common areas are in rough shape.
Have heard nothing but great things about the crew, staff, and food...just wondering what condition the ship might be in.
