Any other "walk up" shuttle services besides Mears at Orlando Airport?

I need transportation for myself only to Universal Studios (Hard Rock Hotel) in early Feb. I was going to take Transtar, r/t $23, but it looks like they're no longer operating.

I heard this a few weeks ago myself and since my DH and I love using their service I did a little investigating. I visited the Orlando Airport (MCO) webpage and they are no longer listed. But, I visited Transtar's webpage and it is still up and running with today's date (Dec. 30) on it! I have been calling their number for over an hour and it is busy (bad sign I think!), as well as sent an email. I am waiting to receive a reply and I'll post with any info that I get. If they have gone out of business, unfortunately it seems as if Mears is your only choice for a shuttle, or Tiffany Towncar for private limo. Good luck!

We heard that Transtar is still in operation, but is not working out of the airport to go to WDW. We use a Happy Limo towncar, but having heard that Transtar was gone, we looked around when we were there in November just out of curiosity. No sign of them, nor any other shuttle service but Mears.

Transtar is NO longer in Business at the airport as a Shuttle Co.They still have the Cabs running. But most of them are owner operates. And that's a different part of Transtar. All of there Shuttles Vans are in a storage lot all locked up...There is talk that Coach USA is coming in as a Shuttle Co..Remember to Support your Sponsors!! ºoº ºoº ºoº
