Anyone at Aulani now?

Aw, thanks! Very subtle but still cozy (except the giant string of light??!?). Hope you had a great trip. Would love to hear more when you have time.

Appreciate the pictures of the resort with some holiday decorations. We've only visited in February or May and didn't know if they did anything special for Christmas as it seems that's not a big thing in traditional Hawaiian culture.

Not sure where "traditional Hawaiian culture" fits in here, but Christmas is as big in Hawaii as it is anywhere else in the States.

We had a wonderful trip. We combined a one week Aulani stay with an NCL Pride of America cruise. During our stay at Aulani we enjoyed the pools and beach. Since this was our 20th Anniversary, we splurged and got a 3 bedroom grand villa room 1189. The view was spectacular. During our trips around the islands we visited Sea Life Park and swam with the dolphins, which is one of the best dolphin swims. We also did a few tours of Kualoa Ranch. This is the location of many movies such as Jurassic Word. The Jurassic Jungle Expedition Tour was a lot of fun. Everyone in our party had a blast. If you are in the area try taking the tour and ask for Uncle Lenord, he was so much fun.

During the cruise we had a something to do every day. If traveling to Hawaii for the first time I would recommend taking a cruise. We were able to visit many different locations on our floating hotel.

How funny!! We did almost exactly the same trip and it was our 20th too!!! Would like to hear what you did on the other islands. We're looking to return for 25 and my BIG birthday, probably Maui and Kauai; wondering what you did there. I doubt we'll do Hana again.
