Nice! my 4/10 deed recorded also received the Disney welcome emails. I called to get the points loaded but they said it wasn’t ready for points loading yet. Might try later today.

Nice! Yeah waiting a day or few to get the points loaded can seem like an eternity just like the wait after ROFR but hopefully this is good news for my 4/10 deed recorded as well!

I passed ROFR on April 6th for my 30 point OKW December use year contract and received the closing documents from DVC Title & Escrow on April 8th. I requested to do a manual signing. When I received the closing documents by e-mail, there was a problem with the spelling of my town, so I contracted them to correct the spelling. I was told to just correct it but could not find a way to do that on my downloaded documents.
They said I could just write the correct spelling on the printed forms. But I was not comfortable with the, so I requested corrected documents be sent to me which I received on April 12th. Due to a broken printer and the need to buy a new one, I didn't send my certified bank check and closing documents back until April 15th. They were received by DVC Title & Escrow on April 17th.
I waited until April 23rd to contact DVC Title about when I could expect a closing date. Their reply was: "the sellers failed their ID verification during the remote online notary session" and that they had e-mailed the sellers the closing documents on April 18th. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? I am curious if rjim87 (who has the twin contract to mine) has run into the same situation

My first closing is dragging along so slowly. My second contract is on pace to beat my first to being recorded. International seller didn't send all the needed documents, ugh.

Our two previous contracts didn't have such a long amount of time between passing ROFR and closing, I don't think.

We were going to wait and wire the remaining funds after they signed but I think we'll just try to do it before then so we can hopefully get it closed on the 9th.

My SSR contract was supposed to finally close yesterday but apparently the sellers are divorced and one of them has switched back and forth between manual and electronic signing. He is supposed to sign today with an e-notary, I guess we'll see.

My CCV contract the sellers have elected to sign manually, which I'm actually ok with given the delays in e-notary appointments.

I'm guessing Marcus used to work with Cammy and he recently came on board?

2 weeks…. I’ve been waiting for my 4/18 because usually it’s about a week…. and my BW doesn’t even close until this coming Monday….. I guess there goes any shot at a BW View 2BD for our March 25 trip….

Ugh, that is so annoying. It doesn't seem consistent so I wouldn't lose all hope yet.

FWIW, we were there that week this year - 1st half was surprisingly not crowded, 2nd half (b/c it coincided w/ Easter) was absolutely nuts. So maybe Easter being later in 2025 will help w/ availability...or at least that's what I'm selfishly hoping for!

Same here. I know the point charts are lower for the same dates in 2025 then they were in 2024s

Yep, similar here. We passed ROFR late March and still waiting for sellers to sign (we signed very early April and wired funds). Getting a bit annoyed now. Also has points expiring very soon I was hoping to utilise for a trip we have scheduled very soon and have moved flights to allow for some more time.
