Connecticut DVC'ers

Fairfield here! I always wondered how many DVCer's were from CT.

VMS--how was dinner with Chef Gordon? I see from your countdown you did it while at HHI. We are going to OKW and then HHI in August and have a reservation with Chef Gordon and can't wait.

Anyone else planning a trip soon?

Gordon was fabulous! We realized we did "A Private Affair" two years in a row exactly on the same day. (Unfortunately our school break is different next year, so we will skip HH for one year.) Not only is he a wonderful chef, he is so interesting to talk with and very personable. Make sure you get the crabcakes, they are out of this world. We got them last year, and he will give you the recipe, and I have made them at home. This year we got the Chocolate Pots-de-Creme for dessert. If you like chocolate, they are not to be missed!

Enjoy your trip! I am so sad we will not be going for two years...

Since CT is not the mother of all states when it comes to size, it should be easy to put together a DVC meet......

I'm glad I started this thread it's good to see so many nutmegers are DVC members, I happen to be in Bridgeport, home resort is BCV, hope to do an add-on before they sell out and run out of my use year.

Looking forward to meeting some of you folks at home sometime.

Enfield here, right on the MA border. Nice to see so many from CT. Haven't found any DVC'ers from Enfield, but I'm always on the lookout.

We lived in Stamford when we bought into DVC in 1999. Because of DVC, we enjoyed going to FL and WDW so much that when my husband was offerd the option to transfer from company headquarters in Greenwich to either Dallas or Tampa, we GRABBED the Tampa offer and have never looked back. We have been Bradenton Florida residents since July 2002, but still keep our ties to CT. Now we are just 1.5 hours from WDW!!!!

Actually, I live in Cromwell, which is right in the center of the state. Indeed, that would make me a logical choice. If there appears to be interest, I will run it past the wife...
