If, I know it is a bit if, I can get the first seating for CRT (that's at 8:00 right?) what is the earliest I can go in the park (NON emh day) and when we are done I assume that we would be able to start enjoying the park right away...are these all correct assumptions?

who has done the first seating at CRT???

I believe 8:00 is the earliest they let anyone in, and I'd say the first PS is either 8 or 8:05. After you're finished eating, if the park isn't open, I think you have to wait at the rope until they drop it, maybe at the entrance to Fantasyland?

We did the 8:05 seating at CRT last October on a non-EMH day. We arrived at the MK at around 7:45 (we were the only ones on the bus). They have a line set up just for priority seating guests. I think they let you through right at 8:00. We went to the castle, checked in, and were seated right away. We had seen all the princesses (felt a bit like an assembly line) and were finished eating by around 8:45.

We left the castle and went down to the tomorrowland bridge. All the lands are still roped off. We met a father with his little girl who also had had breakfast early and we all waited together at the entrance to tomorrowland. At about 8:50 or so, this super nice CM came up to the rope. He asked us if we were all going to go straight to Space Mountain, and of course, we said YES!!

He went ahead and let us through before any crowds came down and we were the first (and only) riders on Space Mountain that day!!

By the time we got off, people were in the park.

It was great.

We also had an 8:05 PS at the Crystal Palace the year before and I got some great shots of the castle with very few people around.

I love having the first PS seatings of the day--it's always just DD and I and we get finished eating before the park opens and station ourselves in front of the rope in whatever section we plan on visiting first.

Thanks so much for the replies...sounds like it may be worth the effort. I am hopeful, since it is a mid-January date.

Wish me luck!

Also a GREAT time for character interaction. When DW and I ate at CRT for breakfast on our honeymoon we went and got in around 830am before the park opened. As we were nearing the end of Main St USA, we saw Mickey and Minnie and both yelled "Hey you two!" and they came running over and posed for pictures with us in a deserted park. It was so awesome.

Well- we got 8:05 for Dec. 6- a non-EE day! Perfect! Can't wait to get pictures made on an almost empty Main street. I guess we can't take too many though if they won't let you through until 8:00 so we can get to the castle at 8:05. Still- very cool! Can't wait! I'm hoping we'll be through before or right as the park opens. We got lucky just to get a ps, but if I had the choice I would've chosen this time. Doing the happy dance this morning and can't wait !!!!!!!!:jumping1: princess:
