Thanks! Just had a light dinner at enchanted rose—our first time here and it is so pretty! Library room is gorgeous, and the truffle fries are to die for. Now off for an evening swim!

Definitely bring swimwear if you want to swim, it may or may not be warm enough. On our December trips the temps ranged from 21 degrees to 86 degrees, and everything in between. You have to be prepared for everything when going in early winter.

wishesqueen glad you had a nice trip. I understand missing the crowds, the pics of the empty GF lobby are so sad.

Yep. In December 2010 it was colder in Orlando then it was back here in Pennsylvania.

Yes, the GF-MK boat is running - they are mostly using the old open air DAK Discovery River boats that are pretty slow. It is not stopping at Poly.

I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer to that. I don’t think they are, but I’m not certain. I know @RaySharpton had a recent thread asking the same thing, not sure if he ever found an answer?

How early should I be at the bus stop to make sure I get to the parks for opening? I don't know exactly how much this will help, but friends of ours meet us for breakfast one morning. We walked them to the bus stop, we were going to pool and they were going to EPCOT. The line was pretty long but there were many buses. I never asked if they made it to rope drop, I don't think that was as important as just getting to EPCOT early. There were a few other people there at the same time from the thread, hopefully they can give you a more precise timeline.

Unfortunately I just spoke to the boat captain and the new open air boats are not ECV accessible. Sorry I don’t have better news.

In response to the question on GF buses, we are now en route to Epcot. We got to the bus station at 9:55 and were told we just missed the first bus a couple minutes before. We were the only ones there. Our bus came at 10:10, which was earlier than we expected! While we waited we saw two HS buses, an AK bus and right behind our bus was a Disney springs bus. There was a CM keeping track of who arrived first for which bus. Station never filled up—room on benches for everyone. I was very impressed at how efficient and orderly it all was!

One sort of bummer we experienced last weekend was that the kid's splash area closes at 7:30pm despite the Beach Pool being open until 10pm. Just FYI for those will little kids who have endless energy at the pool!

Sadly, the even bugger bummer now is it has been closed since we arrived on Wednesday. Lifeguard said it is a mechanical issue. Our little one is so sad every time we go by it
