For all those who book a non-smoking room, get there earlier in the day. They do not honor what you book and when you get there if you asked or or even guaranteed a non-smoking room with an American Express Card, they may give you a smoking room and they offer to give you fans to overcome the smokiness.
This has happened twice, so be forewarned; Raddison at Port Canaveral has always honored our non-smoking request even if we get there at midnight. We guarantee with our American Express Card.
Doubletree people are rude and have an attitude--we are ocean front, so you get what you get, lucky you, you are near the ocean.
We will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! This has happened twice-once last year and now today!!!
And if you ask for a King Bed you may get 2 doubles; again they have an attitude, you are lucky to have a room here, so take what you get, and please do not complain, because we are always booked solid and will not correct our mistakes.
However, they may give you 2 chocolate chip cookies to correct their mistake. Shame on them!
