LOL, of course. When I've already paid for my tickets for my January birthday visit.
Timing, not Disney's strong suit. Or mine.
Upgrade them!
I thought you can't upgrade them until you're scanned into the parks, or am I mistaken? I would do that, but I'm not expectingkeys to still be available by the end of January.
Please let me know what you find out. We too also just purchased our tickets for January.I thought you can't upgrade them until you're scanned into the parks, or am I mistaken? I would do that, but I'm not expectingkeys to still be available by the end of January.
Good to know! Thank you! Definitely wouldn't hurt to try anyway. You can upgrade any unused full priced ticket media to a pass when pass sales are open. I think you could upgrade your purchase to a pass and just not activate the pass until your trip in January. It's worth a call to find out.

I mean, I can't see Disney saying they DON'T want several hundred more of your dollars.
In PR statements to journalists the other day after the price increases they said not before the end of the year at the earliest. How about Disneyworld?!
Wonder if you can upgrade on your last day in the parks? And would there be any value applied from your park tickets?
going over xmas when all passes are blocked but would consider upgrading on our very last night in the parks
This is why I’m surprised they announced this now. So many people will now try to buy day tickets during the blocked out period and then upgrade afterwards. It will be interesting how Disney handles thisWonder if you can upgrade on your last day in the parks? And would there be any value applied from your park tickets?

Next announcement:
"Christmas week blackout dates for Inspire Keys have been lifted."
