Evermore Resort - Any updates or anyone planning a stay?

We’re going in February and before I booked elsewhere, I contemplated using points and the 5th night free for Conrad.

I elected not to for a few reasons:

- Given the stature of Conrad, I assume that it will be a Good Neighbor hotel (or whatever they’re called these days) and qualify for early entry. However, it wasn’t listed as such when I went to book a few months back and I don’t think it has been named one yet.

- Evermore / Conrad is going to be big; about 2,000 bedrooms at Evermore (within larger units) and 433 at Conrad. They claim that they will have a dedicated motor coach to take guests to Disney. So, similar to what Signia and Waldorf Astoria do. But, what I couldn’t find explained at all is volume or frequency. I believe that Signia has a little more than 1,000 rooms and WA a little less than 500. They advertise a pretty nice schedule for bus. I didn’t see one for Evermore.

I wouldn’t want to be a guinea pig if their scaling wasn’t great when they first opened, e.g., with appreciable waits to ride a bus.

- Construction. Sure looks like it’s far from complete, but they’re going to be opening rooms very soon. Other than for the owner getting revenue: what’s the point of staying at a ‘luxury resort’ if it’s a loud, probably not fully equipped, construction site? Especially at the prices they’re posting.

I'm not too worried about that, at this rate and for this brand they will compensate you if the experience is obviously lacking. They're not giving any warnings upon booking that you'll find yourself in a construction zone or that things will be unfinished, so I'm fully expecting what they're advertising on their CGI photos... 😁

Wishing you the best while there! For me there was a good draw to the idea of being the first (or at most third) person to ever sleep in the bed, shower, etc. at Conrad. Looks like when completed it is going to be very special and presumably will still be a special place upon opening.

Dining review from Ceiba (Mexican food) with views of MK and EP fireworks. I can't wait to check this place out (resort overall and dining).

Looks really nice. For the prices they charge a night though, I’d just get on a plane to an actual tropical island and enjoy lol

Even with the FL resident discount (3 days minimum), I am not sure it will work for us $$$.
Are you guys looking at the Conrad or the Evermore Flats/Villas? The Conrad is absolutely out of our range, but we often travel with another family and sharing one of the Flats or Villas seems pretty reasonable for us.

2 BR villa. I can get a last minute DVC rental far less expensive.

The Conrad is always going to be crazy expensive, its extremely high end like the Waldorf or Four Seasons.

The Evermore seems like a very good option. We will see once people start staying there.

Just got back after spending the day there. I want to live here. Stunning lagoon and impeccable landscaping.

Will post more pics later.

Is it under construction? Yes. But I passed gate 2 and entered via gate 1. This is where many/most of the gorgeous home rentals are. We had to drive past them to get to the Conrad hotel and The Landing.

This is a sprawling resort with trolley service to, I think, 7 stops.

In case anyone asks, the lagoon water is cool/cold to everyone we spoke with (and somewhat to my touch). But, I suspect that is either heating right now or is about to.

I'm impressed.

ETA: The lagoon is NOT heated.

I’ll be staying there in a little over a week! Did you take any of their transportation to the parks? If so how was it?

The Conrad is definitely high end. Gorgeous grounds and architecture.

We are looking at the Evermore also, for an extended family trip next year, which may or may not include any park days. The lagoon is impressive looking, but I have heard it closes at dusk. This would not be great for our family :(

The picture shows what appears to be a motor boat in the lagoon?? Which we knew had kayaking and swimming but thought it was a pool?
