Fairy Godmothers Babysitting

I reluctantly booked a sitter from Fairy Godmothers service for our March 29 vacation. I say reluctantly because I don't know if I want to leave my 3 year old with a stranger - although he is very good with all people who sit with him. If you have used this service, please give me your opinions and put my mind at ease. Or tell me the cons???!!!! (I tried to book with Kinder Care and they are sold out for the whole week.)

We too booked Fairy Godmothers after finding Kindercare was booked. I was reluctant but after the sitter arrived, I was put at ease. Laura was an older retired disney employee. My DS had a blast with her. For the rest of the trip he kept asking when the baby(sitter) was coming back. I guess they went to the playground, Andy's room and played games and read books in the room. He was sound asleep when we returned.

We to booked them about a year ago for our 3 year old twins at the time. The woman was great. She brought a Mary Poppins bag full of toys. She asked me ahead of time what the girls liked to do. When we got there they were in bed, and she was in the bathroom with the door open reading a book, so the light wouldn't disturb the kids.
I would highly reccommend!

I have used Fairy Godmothers a few times. 97', 99 & 00'. I would highly recommend their services. I am going to use them again during our trip in December. Don't fret. You have made a good choice.

We used Fairy Godmothers last year and were very pleased with our sitter. She brought age appropriate activities for our 1 year old and he went to her right away (which is always a good sign ). I would definitely recommend them!

Thanks for your positive responses. Maybe I will be able to go at least an hour before I call the sitter worried. The DIS people are the greatest!
