We enjoyed everything about the trip. The Disney touch is very much a part of the adventure. I won't give away any surprises but there were nice touches and goodies daily. The Adventure Guides made themselves available to each family at all times. They were very helpful in giving suggestions of restaurants, stores to find whatever you were looking for, hints on local favorites etc. They really went out of their way to become apart of our family for the week. They also did a great job of entertaining the kids at meal times. The kids usually sat with each other at a separate table. (this was optional). Oe of the guides always sat with the kids and helped them out during the meal.
The food was wonderful. The meals provided always gave a nice variety of choices. For dinners we always had three to four choices (fish, chicken and either beef or pork), soup, salad, veg., grain and dessert were always provided. The kids had a separate menu and my two girls always found something they liked on all menus. Breakfasts were always served buffet style and had plenty of choices for all.
When we ate on our own we never had a problem finding a restaurant we liked.
A lot of the people in our group extended their stay by a day or two. Some went to Paris, others stayed in Munich. We didn't extend our stay. Maybe next time.
We felt we had enough time to explore each city we were in except Munich. We were given a nice tour of Munich by a local guide hired by Disney. He was wonderful and very entertaining. We did have a few hours one night to explore and then the next day we had a few hours after our morning at Neuschwanstein Castle. That was the night of our farewell dinner. We probably would have enjoyed having an extra day to explore Munich.
