First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise, 11th and Final Thread

At the ABC store on Apopka Vineland (Sp) they had a display.. 2 cans and 2 commemorative tulip glasses... they had a lot of them!

Were at the pool right now. I wandered through the pool bar but was too shy to ask anyone if they were here for the cruise. I guess I could have asked if they were a 'friend of Tracy'.

DH is going to be so mad that we don't have a car. I might not mention this little gift set to him. Hopefully they will have it in New Jersey when we visit this summer.


I was enjoying everyone's Facebook photos today. Tonight I am starting to get a little jealous. Oh well, I only have to make it through tonight and bright and early we will be at the airport.

Hey...there's a scheduled booze run tomorrow...after the kitchen sink meet! Want to come along or make a request???

Just got back from the pool fun at the Dolphin...

Ran into our next door roommate (on the cruise) DLBDS (Dara and her temporarily shy 11 year old daughter Robin... who by the way was the first person to get beads on this trip!)... I am betting she is not as shy by Thursday Morning

Also happened upon a trio of "flatties" under the care of EXWDWCM (Michelle) who was innocently taking thier pictures by the hot tub... needless to say Rick (the bad one) had some "better" ideas... yes there is photographic evidence.

If any of you are around during the following time periods there are more firstday surprises to be given away...

7:00 Off to T-Rex (hate the food, love the gang of ex-NOLA folks who have landed here after Katrina)... we always try and go by to have a cocktail (or two) and get a bunch of hugs... try the cotton candy martinin!

8:30 Then a quick run (real quick) through the ever stimulating (yawn) celebration area where the beloved PI once upon a time got all of our money every night... down to Bongos to visit with some more Katrina relocates (back bar)... the mojito (made with Jamican instead of barcardi please)

10:00 Finishing the night off at Kimonos (Swan) for Bagel Roll, a Dragon Roll and of course 2-3 Sakitinis (I swear this stuff is nectar of the gods!)

Then we will quietly sneak into the grotto hot tub (after closing) for a quick dip (they owe it to us... 11 people in the tub today... 9 under the age of 16... thats a no-no!)... may be first oppotuinty to bail Rick out!

How to find us... "the bad one" will be noticable from several hundred yards away as he will likely be wearing several blinking lights (any of which can be yours for a simple "hello"!

For some reason the pirate beads went fast today, you would think people were going on a cruise

I walk around wearing a DIS lanyard, Minnie ears and a DIS pin on my bag everywhere I go and never meet anyone. Maybe I should add flashing lights?

"Ran into"? No, girl, I hunted you down. It was great meeting you guys (our first DISers on this trip)! Robbin thought I was nuts and wanted to turn back when she realized I had zeroed in on you guys. Too bad our meeting was so brief. Just as well though 'cause it was HOT as Hades out there! (We did make it to the pool earlier this evening. Ahhhh.) We had a 5:40 at Boma so there just wasn't time to really chat. I that place. Oh, and we didn't see anyone there either!

Hope everyone still en route is having a safe trip down and everyone's enjoying their resorts that are already here. See you guys at the Poly tomorrow! With Pina Colava in hand, er, EACH hand.

The work week is finally done and the vacation is about to begin.

I'll be gettin up at 3:15am this morning to get ready and head to the airport.

I've been looking at folks and wondering if they're on the cruise too (and trying not to say or do anything that would make someone that meets me later remember me from something I did earlier ). I wish there were some way to identify each other! Hey, I couldn't be more obvious....well, unless I had flashing lights like Rick I guess.

Dara--me too! For the past two days I've worn my Dis lanyard/pin but still no Disers. Tomorrow I'm pulling out the big guns and wearing my Podcast shirt

Hi everyone! Todd and I just got back to the Dolphin. We have to be up in 4 hours. We went over to DTD and had dinner at Raglan Road. It was very good.
Then we went to AKL to meet Chris, and Aaron's family. I'm really tired so it's off to sleep with me.

Well we closed down the pool bar.....

So nice to see everyone blinking and wearing the beads... It is also so weird to know everyone (via the keyboard) and meet them in person... feels like they should be talking as they type!

I am somewhat concerned that a few of us may end up in trouble (with Pete, Disney, or even the authorities in Nassau).. SO I volunteer to provide guidance to all folks you wish to put in my charge Happy to escort anyone to the casino and we will catch up with the ship when it docks in Orlando!

What a great start to the week at hand, it seems there are more than a few "lurkers" who are on the cruise but really did not want to "come out"... reach out to these shy people and bring them over to the dark side!!!!

By the way.... miss seeing my two favorite people (hello Kevin and John).. better to deal with me now than on the Ship.....
