Flamegirl, she is adorable.
Awww, I love it!! My kids, especially my 9 year old twins, would love a dog. We are renters though, so it's not going to happen. I always felt though that if I did get a dog, I'd want a Great Dane. Thanks for sharing. You may regret asking me this....
Well, let me tell you, we had plenty of those around this weekend.Another thought is March is also cheer leader month. We have been there during the time when they are there and I must tell you it is an interesting experience.
Thanks for those pics Rochelle. I'll send you the info now.Hello ladies,
Could someone please PM me the shutterfly info? I could upload the pics there too if you'd like.
Carpooling sounds fun. I love road trips. Also wouldnt mind looking into carpooling like Kaoden was talking about...so anyone in the central/southern oregon area if you want to PM me maybe we can get a small carpool going and maybe even meet up with (at some point on our way down) Kaoden and her group and caravan! sounds like it would be lots of fun!

OK OK I'll stop now.
Okay, she is just TOO ADORABLE FOR WORDS! I always wanted a great dane, but my hubby said "NO WAY!" (because they get so big) And then we got Sassy, who is an English foxhound. Not a small dog by any means either, and definitely energetic! I think Sassy needs a brother or sister that looks just like your puppy.
Thank you!
You know, my husband balked at Great Danes at first too but once I worked on him a little, he caved and now he adores her. They ARE huge but they're couch potatoes and dare I say...she is the best behaved puppy ever. Potty trained in a week, never chewed a thing...her mama is expecting another litter in June so you should plan a road trip
Well, we were just talking about next years trip dates and throwing ideas around, but whatever you think is best.Hi Gals,
Since this is no longer a trip planning thread, it should be moved. I'm thinking Disneyland CB, since this is more chit-chat than a trip report thread at this point.
See, I knew we should have gotten a great dane. Sure they get big, but they have gentle, mellow personalities. Our dog Sassy.....well let me put it this way......she's the female version of Marley. She's eaten toys, pop cans, color crayons, socks, underwear, towels, a $25 Alaska airlines gift certificate, pens, shoes, legos, books, bath mats, bags of chips (the bag and all), post-its, boxes, calculators, TV remotes......I could go on, but you get the idea. She's not so bad now though, although she will still drag out a towel or bath mat or underwear or socks or a toy (from the bathroom or laundry room or playroom) if she's left alone too long, but at least she doesn't chew them up anymore. However, she would still eat a bag of chips if given the opportunity. And I'm pretty sure she would still eat color crayons if they were left out on the table. I don't know why she likes them. Makes for some colorful pooper scooper duty.

It was good to see you again by the way!
can't we start a new 2011 planning thread? Seriously, we're already in planning mode. It's like the people who do the Rose Parade and start planning January 2nd.
I would like to get dates pinned down asap so I can maybe use my 11-month booking window for GCV.

About 4 years ago my parents decided it was time to get another dog. They already had a pug and were wanting something small like another pug or a chihuahua. They came home the next day with a great dane. I'm still not sure how they went from small lap dog to great dane, she is a sweet dog though!
That is so funny. Claire *thinks* she's a lap dog, so I can kind of make the connection. She's growing so fast though, she can't understand why it's not as comfy when she worms her way into our laps. Really only her head fits and the rest just spills over onto the floor.
She is so cute! I have a one-year old Corgi named Bella.
So girls--on the trip we were tossing around the idea of having an "off-site" evening--maybe to Gardenwalk? There's apparently a cool bowling alley there. And lots of good restaurants.
